"In here." (Y/n) announced, turning the corner of the hallway and standing in front of a seemingly random door.
"You sure?" Shiro questioned the credibility of her knowledge of Ajax's ship and in return, the girl simply smacked her lips,
"Yes, I'm sure." She snapped back and proceeded with opening the door without any difficulty.
Once inside, the red Paladin and (Y/n) both pinpointed their stolen weapons in the room and equipped them. After putting both her bladed weapons in her holsters, which were placed on her lower back, she looked over towards the black Paladin for further instruction. At first, however, he was confused why she was staring at him and made him feel a slight burn to his cheeks.
"Um-what?" Shiro asked plainly darting his eyes practically anywhere but the girl's own.
"Lead the way, you seemed to know where you were going before you put me down...I wanna see if it's true." She said with a smirk on her face and arms folded across her chest.
"A-alright," Shiro said with a stutter, slightly alarming the red Paladin in return. He glanced back a forth between the girl and his leader once, with a skeptical mind, then followed suit as soon as Shiro began to lead the way again.
Swiftly as they followed the black Paladin's lead, they soon found themselves once again, in the room of which they were all separated in the first place. Both of their lions seemingly untouched and unbothered which cognitively set off an alarm for (Y/n). She took an abrupt stop and looked behind herself, without the two Paladins noticing at first. She narrowed her eyes at the empty space in front of her...or what seemed to be an empty space. As the red Paladin boarded his lion and with Shiro about to board his lion, the dark-eyed male looked behind him just to confirm that she was still following him...however, had a sneaking suspicion that she wasn't and had to check.
"(Y/n)." Shiro exclaimed trying to catch her full attention but failed.
The (h/c) haired girl put her hand up slightly as to silence the male behind her and took a step forward, reaching for one of her weapons in the process. She scanned the room once again, making sure she didn't miss a single spot, then finally set her sights on two barrels. She quickly took out one of her bladed weapons and pointed it directly towards the two metallic barrels.
"(Y/n), c'mon let's go." The black Paladin said as he reached for her free hand. She looked back at him, then once again back towards the barrels...ultimately deciding that this wasn't the right thing to do. So, she put her weapon back in its holster and slowly slipped her hand out of Shiro's. However, before boarding the black lion, Ajax popped up and over the barrels and shot right between the two. (Y/n) then proceeded to pull out both her weapons this time, pointing them back at Ajax, making sure that he stays in line for here on out.
"No!" He yelled...or practically cried,
"You're not taking her! Not if I have any say in it." He says as he begins charging towards the black Paladin. In the process of running towards Shiro, Ajax places his small blaster on his side holster and takes out a long, double-bladed sword. As he approached and slashed at the black Paladin, Keith immediately got back out of Red and began trying to defend Shiro. Summoning his bayard in hand and forming it into a sword to protect Shiro from Ajax's hits.
"Ajax, we don't wish to fight!" Shiro exclaimed prominently gritting his teeth.
"Well then, if you say so, let the girl stay with me!" Ajax but back and continued to slash at the now black and red Paladins. All while this is happening, (Y/n) stood at the sidelines pondering to herself if she should take a shot towards Ajax. Her hands and temples sweat just thinking about it, and her mind flips back and forth. While trying to make a conscious decision about this predicament, as luck would have it, Ajax's men began to flood the room, causing the (e/c) eyed girl to shift her attention away from the three fighting males.
