"Are all of the civilians out of the area and accounted for?" Allura asks through the intercom to all Paladins of Voltron.
"As far as I can tell, yes-Gah!" Shiro said right before a shot was directly fired at him, barely missing his face. He then runs over to the nearest form of cover and pants in relief from getting out of the line of Galra fire.
"What do we do now?!" The blue Paladin exclaims as he rapidly fires back shots at the Galra,
"What about us?" He added and looked over to his leader for guidance after firing a few more shots.
Now under more pressure than he was before, Shiro frantically looks around himself for a solution for his teammates safety. But to no avail, the Galra has them cornered.
"Princess! We're in a bit of a predicament here, we can't seem to find a way out without anyone getting hurt." Shiro practically yells into the communicator, slightly letting his anxiousness get to him. If something were to happen to his team, he wouldn't know what to do with himself.
"Um, Shiro hold on-" Allura didn't get to finish her sentence as a blast could be heard from in the background.
"Princess?" Shiro questioned with worry in his vocals as he spoke.
Just then, out of nowhere, a gigantic robotic droid landed onto the ground of the planet the Paladins were currently liberating. It looked just like the expendable droids the Galra use, but bigger and more animal like, and for some reason had some sort of brand on its right arm.
"Shiro! We need to get out of here!" Pidge, the green Paladin exclaimed, fear was slightly in play with her vocals.
"We need some sort of distraction!" Keith spoke from the right side of the black Paladin, covering his head from the rapid line of fire coming their way.
!BOOM!
All of a sudden a brief line of explosions erupted into the sky, eliminating many Galra turrets that were threatening the five Paladins.
"What was that?!" Hunk asked nervously as he hid behind cover, slightly wondering if he should peak his head over his cover to see.
Just then, yet another explosion bursted into the dark sky, this time however it was smaller and agonizing groans could be heard in the distance. This in turn helped the five Paladins with their 'predicament' as the heavy fire from the Galra began to ease, allowing them to look up from cover and see what's going on. However, nothing out of the ordinary could be seen in clear view, the only thing worth noting was that there was significantly less Galra then before.
"Do you guys see anything?" Lance asked his other teammates wearily, and quietly at the same time as to not alarm the Galran soldiers, as they too were distracted with what was currently happening.
Keith and Shiro both looked over at each other, confusion in their eyes, then towards the blue Paladin and shook their heads, letting Lance know of their thoughts.
All of a sudden, a shadowy figure was seen from out the corner of the black Paladin's eye. Soon, it was all clear to them, a hooded figure, adorned in all black and wearing a metallic, silver mask with zero features was seen from all Paladin's eyes, attacking the Galra. The figure slashed and seemingly angrily attacked the Galra with no hesitation. They seemed angry, unforgiving and full of malice, they didn't seem to want any of the Galra getting out of this alive.
And just like that, most of them were down, except for that one large droid and the few Galra that they had missed. The Paladins then snapped back into reality and began rounding up the other few Galra whom began running away to possibly save their own skin.
As the figure stared down the droid, their eyes widened under their mask as they noticed the symbol which was lined on its right arm. This only filled the figure with more anger and malice. They gripped their weapon in hand and started viciously running towards the animal-like droid, and upon coming close to the metal monster they strike a heavy slash against its metal plates, but seem to do no damage what so ever. This in turn angered the figure even further, sending them into a fit of rage. They continuously slash against the droid, seemingly to no end, they just won't stop until it's down.
