"I don't know. But I don't want you to leave," She said to me, sticking out her hand for me to grab. Her brows looked as if they were holding weights,
"Please." I felt a twinge of guilt strike through my entire body, my stomach getting queasy from the feeling. The more I stared at the girl in front of me, the more I felt that this was wrong.
I miss Kyanna...I really do. I miss her so much to the point that I would do anything to see her again. But...abandoning someone, yet another time, just to fuel my selfish desires isn't something I want to repeat again. Then I noticed that her light brown eyes were slightly glistening...was she about to cry? She did mention that her father and brother were missing out here...would I just be adding more unwanted emotions if I left too? I don't know! I don't know anything anymore! I just want to be free! I wanna be left alone by the Galra and everyone else whose been stopping me from finding my mother! I just want to be gone!
...But I can't. In a perfect world, my dreams would most likely be a reality. But this isn't a perfect world.
'It will never be a perfect world, but you can always make it a better one.' At least...that's what my mother used to say. I felt my eyes well up with tears, and honestly at this point I did not want to be seen crying. I briskly wipe my eyes to get rid of the salty substance building up within them and sniffled. I then look back at Pidge. I remember all the pass times where I just abruptly left everyone and everybody I knew.
This time I won't.
I take Pigde's hand into my palm and offer a small smile in return. At first, she looked shocked that I had even taken her hand in the first place. But soon that shock was replaced with gratitude and she abruptly pulled me into a hug.
"Thank you!" She whispered to me, her arms wrapping themselves loosely around my waist. I was a bit surprised to say the least, at first, but after hearing her say, 'Thank you' I smiled and in return gave her a hug back.
After a while though she pulled away, hastily in fact,
"S-sorry!" She said while adjusting her glasses nervously.
"It's fine." I breathed and placed my hand on her shoulder,
"Thank you." Her expression soon became perplexed. I could tell she was confused with my exclamation.
"Huh? For what?" She briefly asked her brows fixed in a confused position.
"For making me change my mind. Before you came in, I was so dead set on leaving you all behind...but now that trend is broken." I say with a genuine smile and she smiled back.
"It's not a problem and you're welcome, I guess." She said awkwardly.

"I think we should go." Hunk suggested amongst the five others he was talking to.
"Yeah, me too!" Lance exclaimed.
"Guys, we should be thinking logically here. If Allura said that their civilization was destroyed 10,000 years ago, but for some reason came back, there must be something going on." Keith explained, trying to act as a martyr for the situation at hand.
"So! What if some of their people escaped the attack and rebuilt their civilization." Lance retorted.
"And what gave you that idea?" Keith begrudgingly asked.
"The movies! It happens all the time." The Cuban-boy proclaimed and crossed his arms, he was already done with his conversation with the red Paladin.
"Figures." Keith deadpanned and also crossed his arms, but in a slouchy manner.
"This is just strange to us. We haven't heard of any thing coming from Espore since the very beginnings of the Galran Regime." Coran stated.
"Coran's right. We have heard absolutely nothing from them since then. They were-well we thought they were completely wiped off the grid. It could be dangerous." Allura added.
