Arriving at work, Claire was stocked in her office looking through adopting files for a couple that wanted a beagle. When noticing me, Claire's wrinkly eyes ceased as she saw me, Claire was about sixty and seemed to adore me and the animals at the shop. She told me that I was working at where the hamsters, rats, mice, ferrets, and the scary and hairy tarantulas.
As, I ran check to make sure all animals were all examined, I began to play with the ferret with a little toy ball, a young boy came to my section with his father and wondering if he could get a tarantula. Mostly hearing the string of words enunciating 'I want a tarantula' worries me, but working at the store for almost two years has crawled its long-haired arachnid self into my likeness.
When, I asked the young man if he was brave to hold such a eight-legged monstrosity, joking of the monster part, the boy squealed, yet his father looked unsure. I picked up Charles, the longest staying spider, he was the first to grasp my favorite, as Charles scrambled around my left palm and forearm, asking again,"Ready?"The young man assured, "Oh yeah!" Maneuvering Charles onto the boy's hand, the boy quarreled at first but giggled as it tickled him.
I turned myself to the father, who was weary of the creature, "Are you going to purchase Charles..uh I mean the tarantula?"
"Can we!? Please" The boy begged as the spider explored the young man's hands.
"Will you be able to take care of it Robbie?" Robbie's father asked.
"If we buy it." Robbie jested.
Holding back my laughter, the father obliged to buy it. Guiding them to the counter to sign the adoption papers. When the father paid, I asked Robbie, "What are you going to name it."
"Charles, because it suits him and changing it would lose the meaning of why I wanted him." Robbie made clear of.
"Great name." I winked at Robbie.
Giving the father a starter kit for tarantulas and a small plastic cage, then Robbie and his father left with a new family member.
Work became a regular routine machine on me as I sold two salamanders, who were related and gratefully not separated from each other, Kelly, a gray-haired hamster, and three colorful fishes. My shift was over and saying goodbye to Claire and the rest of the animals. John hasn't called me about the movie time yet, so I hung around the mall and got chinese at the food court and bought a Doctor Who belt, and reluctantly my feet felt sore and I took a city bus home.
Seeing as I entered my apartment, I viewed my body and saw little hairs and wooden chips from some of the animal pens, so I chose to take a warm shower and as I glanced to the rock that reminded me when my grandma used to live with my family while I was younger, she found a rock, barren and rough but perfect to scrape away the dead cells that stuck to my skin and causes dark spots. I still possess the sanded rock with its own black dark spots, raking the stone across the blackened area starts to peel off making it smooth and clear. I thought about my grandparents and how I missed them, they are still alive, but I moved along time ago.
When I tried to dry my hair only to make it clumped and making my mirror splotched with water droplets. Noticing how my thighs were always together scuffling whenever I walked, making my insecurity drop into hell. Another oddity about myself was my arms were dotted with bumps though not caused by the cool air, bumps that have circulated my shoulders since I was eight years old. It was pathetic to wear short sleeve or shorts cause my peculiarity body fluctuates to ugly stumping lower like uglier. My inky, dark black hair dripping onto my to the carpet and my murky nut brown irises glinted came in contact with the yellowed light of the bathroom.
Certain that most of the water stopped dribbled down and into the tiles and shagged carpet, I covered my body in a towel and shuffled into my still and forever messy sleeping quarters. When I changed into comfortable blue jeans and a loose feeling graphic t-shirt about Spiderman, Thor, Ironman, and Loki's heads plastered in the front. As, I tried to slick my hair back. At last, John texted me the time of the movie and also wondered if he could pick me up now to eat a little dinner. Replying with okay, I now had little time to dry my hair, so desperate times called for desperate measures a blow dryer. Ten minutes of steaming, hot and pressured air hardly drying my hair, I gave up and attempted to soak up the rest of the water into my towel. Then I combed out all the knots, and found navy blue converse to complete my motley outfit.
The door buzzer rang to call me in, it was Devon. "Can I come in, Dudeguy890!"
"Um how the hell do you know my minecraft name?" I wondered as I led the speaker button.
"I'm a co-owner on the server you tried to join, but no avail no one was on at that time." Devon gave an explanation.
"That's stalkerish." I kidded.
"Can I come in?" Devon questioned.
"Yep." I buzzed a different button to unlock the door for guests.
Not a moment later, Devon came upon my door knocking,"Hello!"
Unlocking the door, letting a tall twenty year old with blond facial hair and scruff with a troublesome looking smirk come into my house for the very first time. "Nice turtle." commented Devon.
"That's Capulet." I informed Devo as I searched for my phone.
Devon began to scramble the apartment and making flicking effect and twitching his arms "Ready to go!?"
I made aware of what he was doing,"What the hell?!"
He was mid-way from jumping off my couch stumbling to get off,"I-I am Spiderman, cause ya know.."Devon stuttered twitching his wrists again. "Let's just go now."
"Wait, let me get my bag." I snatched it from the couch that Devon was recently ascending upon as Spiderman. Then, bolted out the apartment leaving Devon to lock and close the door.
*Arrives at Devon's dorm parking lot*
"Can you stay here?" Devon inquired as I was still staring objectively as I read some weird fanfiction.
"Sure." I mumbled, reading the words that scrolled my iPhone's screen.
A few minutes later, the whole gang came into view from the front of the car. Devon and I sat at the front while Manny, John, and Duncan squished into each other at the back.
"To see Andrew Garfield!" I shouted in glee while dangling my feet and startling Devon as he tried to restart the engine.
"But we're going to eat first." Manny corrected.
"Oh yeah, but where?" I asked.
"Golden Corral." John stated.
"Then to cotton candy!" I yelled, causing Devon to jolt up in his seat surprised once again.

A/N: I always liked the kid and the spider connection but literally Robbie is basically calling him Robbie because apparently when you name someone Charles! Their nickname is Robbie

MizahI never told anyone about myself, I was usually engrossed in a book or went out by myself. Then, I met John, if there was anyway my mind could say he was different, there really wasn’t. Though, when we met, it was not a sight of first love, but more...
