6. | REMEMBER - stiles stilinski

"what in the hell were you three thinking?" sheriff stilinski asked.

"i'm not exactly sure how to answer that." rachel said.

"we were just trying to help." scott said with a chuckle.

"why don't you try and help me understand what the hell happened here?" he replied.

"right, well, we were trying to gently persuade him to pull over." stiles said.

"right, gently." rachel said.

"he was getting away." scott said with a cringe.

they were trying to stop someone from leaving so scott ended up jumping on their car and wolfing out.

"he got away." sheriff stilinski pointed out.

"right. because obviously he's some sort of criminal mastermind, dad." stiles said.

"yeah, see we were just trying to save the day." rachel said.

"uh huh. you want to guess what the stolen merchandise is?" his father asked opening the back of the van.

"hmm? critical life saving medical equipment?" stiles guessed.

"no." his father said.

"poison gas?" stiles guessed again.

"nope." his dad said shaking his head.

"filled with drugs?" stiles asked.

"helium." his father told them.

"helium?" stiles and rachel said.

after that, they got back in the jeep and stiles was gone to drop off scott and rachel.

"this could be a good thing." scott said keeping his eyes on the road.

stiles had hurt his hand and now he was wearing a brace so he couldn't drive.

"that we saved helium?" stiles asked making rache and scott laugh.

"well, when you say it like that." rachel said.

"i mean, that... they don't need us anymore." scott said.

during the past three months, nothing very supernatural had happened. they had been living their lives pretty normally.

"okay, well, they need us. they just don't know it." stiles said.

"we're all going off to college soon. so beacon hills is gonna have to survive without us." scott told him.

"beacon hills will burn to the ground without us." stiles said.

"stiles... they don't need us." scott said.
