You loved traveling with the Doctor, even if he was the most oblivious person in the universes. Well, aside from Harry Potter. Obviously.
When he had first invited you to travel with him, he asked the furthest you'd traveled. When you replied Lorien, he had assumed you meant purely in the Lorien Legacies books by Pittacus Lore. That, however, is not what you'd meant.

If you need any further evidence of the tall, skinny Time Lord's obliviousness, here is your most recent adventure, when you finally give up and explain... Kind of...

"So, (Y/n)," he said as you stepped into the TARDIS after a long day, "where do you want to go tonight?"
You were so tired that you automatically replied, "Somewhere made of soft mattresses." However, you had forgotten that you had already visited that world, and would be recognised. The Doctor just smiled obliviously and complied, unaware of the predicament that you were slowly realising that you were in.
You just sat on the seats in the TARDIS, unable to say somewhere else without saying why you were changing your mind. The Doctor, unsurprisingly, was oblivious to your anxious mood as he flew the old time-space machine.
Your own TARDIS was a much more modern number, thanks to advancements - on your home planet - in genetically modifying the organic structure of a TARDIS.
Eventually, you arrived at your destination, the fear of being recognised and having your secret revealed almost too much for you. Only then did the Doctor notice that you weren't quite yourself. "Tough day?" he asked. Your simplest reaction, without giving yourself away, was to nod, which you did. He reached his hand out to you, with a slight smile. "Come on, there's nothing a bit of jumping on mattresses can't solve!" His grin was infectious and you couldn't help but smile, too!
Taking his hand, you forgot - for a moment - all your worries about recognition on the planet.
You realised how big a mistake you'd made as you both stepped out of the door.
The banners were the worst part of the experience outside of the TARDIS. You seemed to have forgotten just how many times you must've visited because they had drawings and paintings of each different you. Every single face you had ever worn was on each and every banner. And it was the anniversary of the first time you'd ever saved the people of M4ttre55. Or, as it was colloquially called, Bedshire.
You had to watch as the smile on your Doctor's lips faded into a frown of confusion and, almost, fear. "We should talk..." he muttered to you, leading the both of you back into the blue box of space-time travel. It was once you were inside, with the door closed, that you saw just how much this was affecting the Doctor... and in how many ways.
You couldn't hold it in any longer as soon as the door was shut. "I'm sorry, Doctor. I tried to explain to you, when you asked how far I'd traveled. But no matter how I worded it, it always sounded like I was just a well-read human. And we had fun, didn't we?" It all came spilling out of your mouth. "Didn't we have fun?"
"(Y/N)..." he muttered, more to himself than actually talking to you. You went to reply. "What was your promise?"
You looked up at him, surprised that he remembered that about the naming ceremony. "(Y/N) means (N/M)* on Earth," you explained, glad that he was intrigued.
~ * (N/M) means Name Meaning. ~
His eyes met your own (E/C) eyes and the two of you shared a moment of euphoria, though you had no idea why. "I thought," he started, the happy gleam returning to his eyes, "that it was just the Master and me left." He paused, and you realised how glad that he knew who you were. "I'm glad you're still with us, (Y/N)."
"Me too, Doctor..."
