Today was not Luke's day, he knew it from the moment he got up from bed this morning. He remembers all too well from last night and he wished that he was at work than to be home. His father led in a small group of creeps home and he felt completely disturbed. With the walls being thin, he heard the conversation exchanged between his father and the group.

Hearing the people talk extremely loud and having the strong scent of the drugs made Luke stay awake  all night. At one point he heard his name mentioned in the conversation (but rather not remember what it is about) and he rather die than hear his father say his name. And he knew that the conversation wasn't innocent.

Since he doesn't have enough money to make a living for himself, he is stuck with living with his father for god knows how long. If his father dies, he's going to call medics then throw away his ashes.

Now the smell of drugs is attached to his clothes, he had to shower himself in cologne and literally scrub himself in the shower.

He doesn't realise how long he was in his thoughts when he heard someone clear their throat. He automatically knew it's Ashton because the whole school is scared to talk to him.

"Um, class ended a minute ago." he said in a soft tone.

Luke doesn't even remember walking in the class, he let out a grunt and ignore the dirty blonde as he walk out of the classroom. Luckily lunch is now and the teacher left the classroom to get lunch.

Just what Luke knows, the teachers don't give a damn about the students and leave them behind so another student has to do a job.

He head to the canteen and sit in his usual spot, and wait for the dirty blonde to go and talk to him. It's becoming apart of his routine and he doesn't feel like communicating with anyone today. If anyone bothers him when he's not in the best mood, he can't control his emotions and god knows that he would end up lashing someone.

With the lack of sleep he had last night, it affects his mood and it's not healthy. Does he care? Of course not.

He glares at everyone that is talking loudly around him and it made him irritated. Then his mind decides to flash back from last night just to add fuel to the fire.

Lately, he doesn't know what's going on with his mind anymore and he can't control it; it's like his mind is in a different world and he is still here. Luke also noticed that he has been more angry than usual and he doesn't know why.

"Hey Luke!" a familiar voice said as he look to see it is Ashton once again.

"Hey." he grumble back as he cross his arms across his chest.

"What are you up to?"

"I'm at school obviously," scoffs the brunette with an eye roll.

"Oh, uh, yeah." Ashton respond with an awkward chuckle as he scratches the back of his neck.

Luke just glare at him and for some reason, the dirty blonde is getting on his nerves. He said the same thing every time Ashton is around, but this time he is being serious.

The brunette went to stare at everything else except for the dirty blonde sitting in front of him.

"Hey Luke, are you okay?"

"When is anyone okay?"

Ashton nod and felt awkward because he doesn't know what to talk about with him. He's trying his best and he won't give up! He has to prove that he can get Luke out more and become happy.

"Look dude, I don't get why you are doing this. It's better if you leave me alone and don't ever communicate with me." he add as his voice lace with annoyance.

"I know you are going to be agitated with me for saying this, but I'm not leaving."

Ashton resembles a house fly on a summer day and the brunette despise it.

"Okay, why won't you leave me alone? I don't care if you want to get me out of my shell but it's not happening! You are only making it worse than what it already is! It's not possible for someone to let another person out of their comfort zone! You are wasting your time on me! So LEAVE ME ALONE!" his voice grow louder by each second. Luke let it all out; all the anger and annoyance he dealt with since last night.

The whole canteen fell silence as all eyes are on Luke; half of the people are shocked to hear him yell since he's always quiet. He felt extremely uncomfortable yet the weight from his shoulders left him.

He scan the area as people are still staring at him as his eyes land on the dirty blonde sitting in front of him. Ashton is scared and looks like he's about to cry, but he is holding it all in.

Eventually people went back to what they were doing and Ashton still sat there looking small and scared.

"You know what, you are right. I don't know why I'm wasting my time on someone who is incredibly rude to everyone and doesn't know how to handle a proper conversation with people! I'm sorry for trying to help but I guess I'm making it worse! I'm sorry that I'm trying to be a friend here Luke! Sorry that I want to let people know that you are a good person!" Ashton shouts back as his voice breaks a few times; but no one notice his outburst since he's quieter.

"Maybe I did waste my time and should have people see you in the negative light." he angrily state before getting up from his seat and walk out of the canteen.

Luke stayed standing as he stares intently at the doors before sitting back down. His blue eyes gaze to the table in front of him as anger shot through his mind.

He kick the table multiple times before storming out of the canteen as well and called it a day. He is done with everything and everyone at school. He's basically done with life.

He doesn't want Ashton involved in his life anyways, he is annoying as hell and rather have people be afraid of him. He doesn't need all that positivity shit in his life.

He doesn't need anyone.

The brunette got on his skateboard and head straight to work so he can get his shift done and over with.
