There in the darkness she stands.
Hiding behind her dark past.
Eyes filled with fear.
Steps as brave as they can be.
Tears are falling while her smile is growing.
Hiding behind her fake laughs.
Helping who needs never thinking about her needs.
As selfish as she can be.
She gives everything away to who needs.
Wants to help but never receiving it back.
She stands there in the darkness.
her head held high.
Heart falling to the ground
shattering.
She has officially been broken.
She has officially lost the battle.
Falling to her knees as she looks around
Maybe it is the last time she sees!
Last time she speaks!
Mumbling her last word "why"
She falls into the hole. Hands pulling her farther down
She has officially given up!
Hands up in surrender
Eyes filled with both fear and tears
Fear: for not knowing what kind of pain is waiting
Tears: for losing every little dream she dreamed of
They won! They broke her!
A bright young woman once to be
Into a dark girl as she will forever be
Light into dark.
Smile into scowls.
Laughs into sobs.
Love into hate.
She was a flying angel but not anymore
Right now she has fallen
She is a fallen angel
