Monsters

THIS POEM HAS NOT BEEN EDITED SO I AM SORRY IF YOU FIND ANY MISTAKES

Parents go on and on telling their kids scary stories about monsters.

Monsters who are hiding under their beds.

Monsters who are ugly looking or cold hearted.

Monsters who would hurt them or scare them.

They plant the seed of fear inside the children's chests.

Making scaring pictures stick to their heads.

Making them fear what is unreal.

A work of fiction a thought to fear.

But they should know that the real monsters aren't all that far away.

A little light wouldn't scare them.

A cry of agony wouldn't satisfy them.

Cause the cold hard truth is.

Humans are the real monsters.

They are the ones we should fear.

They are the monsters who are perfectly real.

Every person has a monster who is fighting inside.

Waiting to rule over a person's mind.

Waiting to be unleashed.

And sometimes humans are too weak to fight those monsters.

Too weak to defeat them.

So they let them take over.

Let them ruin their minds and body.

Let them get too strong.

That they can't be shoved down again easily.

Demons. Demons are real too.

The worst demons are inside the mind.

They wait for the monsters to break the person.

So they can take over.

To destroy the person completely from the mind.

So here is what I think we should do.

Be strong. Stop fear what is unreal.

Be brave. Be ready to fight what you fear.

Be confident. Cause no insecure can play this game.

A game of war.

A game of thrones.

A game only one can win in it.

Either you or the monsters.
