Special A/N at the end :)

"So he just... Forgot?" Jess asked.

I sipped my tea.

"Yep," I said bitterly.

Jess was silent. After a couple of minutes, she said "Bastard."

I wiped the tears from my eyes.

"I mean... I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up anyway. He was drunk and-"

"Even if he was drunk, that's no excuse for leading you on."

"But maybe he didn't-"

"Evie! He got you your own collection! Brought you to the fanciest restaurant in town and gave you an engagement ring worth more than our yearly rent! Either he's blind, or he knew that he could get what he wants."

"Which is?"

Jess sighed and squeezed my hand.

"Chicken, it's probably just for publicity. And like you said- a bit of guilt as well."

I put my head in my hands.

"What am I going to do?" I asked, exasperated.

"Hon, you have a baby to think about. Look, the wedding... It'll e one day. And then everything will go back to normal."

"Yeah but... I mean, the wedding is in three weeks and-"

"And that's okay because guess who found out and offered her services as a wedding planner?"

"Who?"

"Miranda!" Jess squealed.

A small smile came across my lips.

"Yeah, Kiera Nightly was there and saw the whole thing, so she told Miranda who's designing her dress for the Oscars, and then Miranda rang Benedict- Sherlock, you know, Matts friend?- And he confirmed the whole thing! So then Miranda rang me and she wants to see you today at three so you can look at her Wedding dresses!"

I couldn't help but giggle while Jess jumped with excitement.

"And she knows the best Wedding planner in Europe, this amazing guy called Franc- he did the royal wedding and everything!- And he's already scouting locations! So, I'm going to get my shoes on, and we're going to meet up with Miranda and give you the best fake wedding ever! Deal?"

"Yeah, deal," I chuckled.

As Jess bounded up the stairs, I let my hand rest on my small bump.

"You okay in there, pud?" I asked gently, rubbing gentle circles on the raised surface. I was barely two months, so you could hardly even see it. But it was there to me. "It'll be okay, darling. Daddy loves you so much. I love you so much. Even though....Things aren't great right now. But I'll still love you more than anything ever, and your Daddy will too. Don't ever forget that my dear."

I was brought out of my trance by Jess bounding in.

"You ready? Miranda wants to meet us at the designer's in fifteen minutes," she siad breathlessly.

"Yep, let's go," I said getting up.

"Evie! Mon chéire!" Miranda greeted us as we walked in. She threw down the pins and thread she was holding, and walked away from the man in a suit, and walked towards me with her arms open wide.

Pulling me into a hug, she whispered, "Jess told me. Let's win him back, eh?"

As she withdrew, I couldn't help but smile. "Well, um that's the plan," I said meekly.
