We say words we don't mean
Drowning in them like caffeine
In our vein, our hearts holding the pain
Like holding onto a piece of glass: all in vain.
We hurt each other like it's what's expected
From this world that's tried to be perfected
Even when all of us just want someone to hold
Us when our hearts are left out in the cold
By those that were meant to leave
Us, and shatter, and crash, and deceive
Us because the society has divided
Us all in two; those who are the breaker
And those who are the broken.
