Cursed

She's cursed
she believes
cursed with
mind ripping
heart wrenching
ache that ebbed
with each pulse
that stroke
through her
veins

"Never let
them know,"
she tells herself,
"they won't care,"
her own words
suffocated her
blinded her
with blankness
of people who
screamed
white lights
and white lies
at her

She mocks them
throws knives
around with her
mouth

Silently
inside,
she's drowning
in self loathe
she's whispering
to herself,
begging for
someone to
help her out
from this hole
that kept growing
inside her chest
with each breath
she breathed

She spreads
the aura
of bleakness
around
because
that's all
she has ever
seen happening
