A Masterpiece

Every inch
of my skin
that you touch
is a stroke
of brush
against the pastel

Your lips
on my skin
the shades of red
You burn me up
with passion
and leave me
wanting more

Your hands
on my body
the shades of orange
warming up my heart
making it wish
you were eternally mine

The words
you whisper to me
the shades of green
they're my vitality
my strength
they keep me going strong

Your smiles
your laughter
they're the shades of yellow
in my life
they bring joy to me
in only a flick of time

Here I am
with you
telling you
how beautifully
you've changed
my life

Here I am
with you
blinking in the starlight
laying next to you
on the rooftop
and this feeling
I realize as
I look at you
it's such an
exceptional masterpiece
