Wondering if you were an illusion
Fabricated and misinterpreted as a delusion
Who felt for me more deeply than the confusion
Of all the world's glittery allusion
The way you broke into my heart; it was an intrusion
You made sure to run through my veins in an act of diffusion
But it only gave me a contusion
Breaking my blood vessels—and that was a conclusion
I tattooed in my mind; you existed only as an occlusion
You were all but an aversion
Keeping me from my own ascension
