"So you guys are going on a date! Wait, can we pause and rewind? Paano nangyari 'to?" Stephanie screeched, while we were on our way to the Lib. We had our free period and sadly, we had to borrow a book for our next class.
"How many times do I have to tell you that it's not a date?!" I said for the millionth time today. Apparently, the news spreaded so fast that Alexa and Steph called me when I was on my way to my next class yesterday (Yes, natuloy ang pagpasok ko. Inspired, eh? Jk.)
"That is SO a date! I mean, kayong dalawa lang, he'll treat you daw, tapos sobrang sinet nyo talaga. Sobrang cute nyo! Who would have thought?"
I stopped and stared at her for a while. Date nga ba talaga yun? To be honest, hindi pumasok sa isip ko na I'm going on a date with Ricci because the approach was so friendly and I think he made it clear na he's going to treat me Gelato because he believes he owes me something. That doesn't really count, is it?
"Steph please, pagod na ako mag-explain. I told you, it's not a date. He just thinks na he owes me something because of what happened at class. Besides, hindi pa kami nag-uusap kung what time today so malay natin kung tuloy pala," I quietly said, as we are about to enter the Lib.
I felt my phone vibrate and puta, parang na jinx ata ako sa sinabi ko ah?

Lumaki mata ko sa text nya. Bakit ang dami na agad sinasabi nito? I brushed it off and figured baka ganyan talaga siya ka sweet sa mga taong ililibre nya ng gelato.

I waited 3 minutes para hindi naman masyado obvious na bored and nakabantay ako sa text nya. Not like, iniintay ko talaga no. I was busy with Steph!

"The fuck, go away creeper? May nakita lang akong funny video sa Facebook!" I lied. Ayoko nga aminin na natutuwa ako kay Ricci no, araw araw na nga ako kinukulit, i-coconfirm ko pa.
"Hindi daw... e abot CSB yang smile mo no. Hello?" Steph said and I ignored her. Bahala siya pagalitan mag-isa nung librarian no.
Yes, gelato later. 4pm after class? :) Or you have a class? I can wait for you naman.
