Everytime I look into your eyes I see it

"I really don't get why you didn't tell me in the first place! I tell you guys almost everything!" I ranted to Steph as we skim through the racks of clothing in Forever 21.

"Why are you getting mad at me, Marq? Hindi ko rin alam bakit hindi nya sinabi sa'yo. Ako I honestly just found out because I saw Prince texting her in class one time. Maybe she has her own reasons." Steph explained and she faked surprised when she saw cute pink top she'll probably wear at Drei's party on Saturday.

It was a Wednesday and I honestly don't feel anything new. The weekend has gone by, and things aren't heating up as it was supposed to. Yesterday, I had another class with our Terror Professor and I thank the heavens Ricci was there to entertain and talk to me. Wala akong kakilala sa class na yun and I realized na ako ang pinagiinitan ng terror na yun. Ok I admit, I had my faults pero pwede ba? I was not made to make fun of. I had a mistake okay!

"Hindi ko talaga gets bakit ako na lang lagi niya nakikita, Ricci. My god, I had a single look at my phone!!! I swear 5 seconds lang yun! Tapos yung mga tao sa harap na todo text hindi nya pinapansin!!" I cried out in frustration after the bell rang.

Once I entered the classroom, puro parinig na lang ang ginagawa sa akin ng Prof na yun. Kesyo late daw ako nag start sa class niya, hindi pa daw ako masyado nagpaparticipate then when it's almost 10 minutes before the bell rang, I checked my phone for a while then boom. Another scolding session from her. My classmates were even looking at me na parang, 'Anong trip? Bakit lagi siya?'

"Ang ganda mo daw kasi. Naiinsecure ata e. Matandang dalaga ata yun, eh?" Ricci laughed as we walked through the hallways.

I sighed and punched him lightly on his arm. "Baka may crush sa akin yun – kaya ikaw pinagiinitan!" he joked and I laughed.

"Ang feeler mo!" I teased back but got me thinking... Siguro nga.

I show Steph my phone and read Ricci's text. Of course Alexa ditched us for the GA practice. Hours before, we texted Alexa and invited her for a shopping spree and coffee at MOA. She didn't reply. Now we know why.

Steph laughed. "Hayaan mo na, in love e. Parang ikaw, na-iinlove na sa kapatid."

I rolled my eyes and took a sip of my coffee. "Ewan ko sa'yo Steph. Ricci and I are just friends. Alam naman ng lahat yon."

"Alam nga namin. Pero alam din namin na there's something going on between the two of you. I must admit, it was kind of unexpected. I mean, I've known you since forever, Marq. Akala ko matagal tagal ka pang makaka move on from that fuccboi ex of yours."

I looked at her and thought about it. Am I really completely moved on from him? In-admit ko kay Ricci na I'm not pero sa sarili ko ba? Whenever I see Mico – I completely feel nothing. Maybe I'm just scared? Scared at the fact na baka saktan nya lang ako? Pero love just like before? Parang wala na.

After Ricci told me that he's going to wait for me I was perspiring like heck. Hindi ko alam kung kinikilig ako or talagang kinabahan ako sa mga sinabi nya. The intensity of his words are not a joke and alam kong aasa na ako sa mga sinabi niya.

After an hour of watching our brothers and talking about random stuff, our brothers came up to us. Dylan was perspiring like hell, so I took the responsibility of being an Ate. Pinunasan ko siya and tinulungan magpalit ng shirt. Gave him water and even asked him if napagod siya.

I saw Ricci looking at me while taking care of my brother and we both smiled. Wala siyang idea sa personal life ko – he probably doesn't know anything about my family. Ngayon nga nya lang nalaman na kapatid ko si Dylan. Dylan who's supposed to have a mother right now.
