"Tita, mahilig po ba si Ricci sa hotdog na may catsup?"

It's just 8:00 AM on a Sunday at naisipan kong paghandaan si Ricci ng breakfast in bed. I promised him that this time, I would be the one to "court" him at kahit naman alam kong di nya sineryoso yung offer ko, well sa akin sineryoso ko. Kinuntsaba ko si Tita Abi the day before para mapapasok ako ng bahay nila. I could've asked for Rasheed's help but I'm afraid that mejo distant siya sa akin dahil alam ko namang may idea siya na nagkalabuan kami ni Ricci.

"Oo naman, di naman maarte sa pagkain yan. Ayaw nya lang talaga ng raw food,"

I nodded and proceeded to do the cooking. I have prepared chocolate chip pancakes, grilled cheese, tapa, garlic rice, and right now I'm in the middle of cooking a bacon omelette. Siyempre marami kaming niluluto ni Tita Abi dahil para rin naman 'to sa buong family.

"Looking and smelling so good, Marquis! Mukhang hindi lang si Ricci ang mapapasaya mo sa mga niluluto mo. Favorite din ng mga little brothers nya ang breakfast food. I'm sure good mood yung mga yun paggising." Puri ni Tita Abi na siya namang ikinataba ng puso ko.

"Tita, thank you po dahil pinayagan nyo akong guluhin yung kitchen nyo. Pasensya na po talaga, gusto ko lang po talaga makabawi kay Ricci and I think this would be a nice start. Don't worry po tita, last na po talaga na favor 'to."

Tita Abi gave me the sincerest smile I could ever see and held me lightly on the shoulder. "Hija, ano ka ba. Gusto pa nga kitang pasalamatan dahil pinapasaya mo si Ricci. Ngayon lang siya nagpakilala ng babae sa amin and I can tell that gusto ka talaga niya. Nakikita kong inaalagaan mo siya. Kaya please, don't worry about it. You are most certainly welcome here. Di ka na iba sa amin from now on, okay?"

Tumango ako and I gave Tita Abi a hug na matagal ko ng gustong hingin sa kanya ever since. It truly is promising to feel a Mother's squeeze every now and then and it made me feel nostalgic. Na-miss ko tuloy si Mommy.

"Ang bango naman niyan!"

Tita Abi and I's hug were cut off ng bigla naming nakita si Rasheed at isa pang bata na kasama nya and if I'm not mistaken it is Allen pababa ng hagdan. I gave Rasheed a smile, unsure of what I would act in front of him dahil malay ko ba kung nag-harbor siya ng sama ng loob sa akin nung nagkalabuan kami ni Ricci.

"Mukhang masarap yan ah! Marquis, ikaw lahat nagluto nito?" nagulat na lang ako ng nasa tabi ko na si Rasheed na nakangiti sa akin. Of course, na-praning na naman ako. Di siya galit sa akin. Minsan feeling ko drug addict ako sa pagka-praning ko sa buhay eh.

I laughed and looked at Allen who's right in front of me as well. "Hindi ah. Siyempre tinulungan ako ni Tita. Baka magkasunog pa dito sa bahay nyo kung ako lang 'no! Mahirap na."

They all laughed and introduced me to Allen who's adorable as well. Isa isa na rin bumaba ang iba pang kapatid nila Ricci except Prince who's probably at Alexa's place. Nakakatuwa lang na they were all excited about what I did and what I planned.

"Should I wake Sahia up?" asked Riley who's about to steal a chocolate chip pancake from a plate.

"No! Ate Marquis should be the one to wake Sahia up. She has a surprise nga 'diba?" Ashton sarcastically remarked at natuwa ako na nakakita ako ng resemblance from him and Ricci not only from the looks but from the way he reacts to situations as well. Carbon copy nga talaga.

They were all quiet as they prepare the dining table. Minabuti nila Tita na maging tahimik lang din sila sa kitchen para di mapansin ni Ricci na lahat sila gising at nasa baba na.

"Mabuti na lang tulog mantika si Ricci at napagod sa work out kagabi kung hindi fail 'tong surprise na 'to!" Rasheed commented that made me smile. Mabuti na lang Sheed is not the type of person who harbors bad feelings towards girls who hurt his brothers.
