"Nako, Margarita! Late ka na naman! Mapapagalitan ka na naman ng Daddy mo," Yaya Lucy quietly warned me when I entered our house. It's a Sunday and it's a tradition to go home every Sunday at our house in Blue Ridge.
I signaled for Yaya Lucy to keep quiet by putting my finger in front of my lips. It's already 11:45 AM and I overslept because Steph, Alexa & I decided to have a wine night at Alexa's house in Mandaluyong.
"Hi Yaya!! Wag ka na maingay. Aakyat muna ako sa room ko para kunware matagal na akong naghihintay doon," I told her my lame excuse that I usually do whenever I go home a bit late.
"Hay nako, ewan ko sa'yo! Sige umakyat ka na, ako na muna ang bahala sa Daddy mo."
I smiled and hugged her. Yaya Lucy has been my siblings and I's best friend in forever. She was our Mom's yaya ever since College and since nagka-family na si Mom and hindi nya talaga kayang wala si Yaya Lucy sa piling niya, kami na ang next nyang inalagaan.

"ATE! Tumatakas ka na naman!" I hear my 13-year-old brother, Dylan remarks and I almost fainted when I saw him carrying the love of my life, my puppy, Stewie!!
"STEWIE!!!" I whispered-screamed and tried to get Stewie from him. Dylan smirked and refused to give Stewie to me.
"Wow Ate, I love you too ha."
I laughed but then I remembered na nagtatago pala ako so I grabbed Dylan's hand and went inside my room. I sighed in relief when we entered and I had the sense of happiness and contentment when I see the familiar smell and interiors of my room. This is HOME.
"How are you na, Dyl? Did you miss me?" I asked our bunso and I hugged the heck out of him. This is the proper greeting he's looking for. I laughed when I saw him cringe but still, he hugged me back. Lambing talaga!
"I'm good, Ate! I did not miss you!! Nung Sunday lang tayo last nagkita!!" Dylan replied while petting Stewie!! Grabe! This is heaven. My two favorite species on Earth – my little brother and my little pet.
"But I missed you..." paglalambing ko while I hugged him again.
"Psh, isama mo na lang kasi ako sa Taft, Ate! I don't want to stay here na!" Dylan ranted for the millionth time. I sighed and gave him a pat on the back while getting Stewie from him.
