"Hey," Annabeth said, "Are you going to dinner?" I shook my head. She motioned to Malcom to go ahead. "I'll meet you guys later."
"Athena cabin, follow me!" After they were out of sight Annabeth turned to me.
"Wanna talk?" she asked. My head nodded but my mind said 'no'.
"You start," I said.
"Okay. I have advice, but it's like you need any. Athena child giving an Aphrodite dating advice, but the thing that I learned was that if he loved you enough, he will come back for you, no matter what." She smiled. I had to look away or else I would cry. My head went into my hands.
"It's her," I cried, "It's Reyna. That Roman freak."
"It's not her fault, it's Hera's.
"Eh, I guess. But why can't The Romans get their butts over here and we all live in harmony?" I started crying really hard and Annbeth hugged me.
"I wish it worked like that. I bet Leo wishes he could see Hazel everyday, but he doesn't. There are many things wrong in this world, that's one of them."
There was a person in the distance, walking toward us. I was dissapointed to see that it was Drew. She stopped about five feet infront of us. I went back into my cabin, slamming the door. I'm pretty sure Annabeth started to follow me, but was interupted by Drew.
"You both should be at dinner," she said, "Chiron's probably really mad at you guys."
"So?" Annabeth asked, "Piper's really not in the mood for the campfire. I'm not leaving her." I was glad to know Annabeth actually cared. I went over to my bed and rapped my hands around my knees. I put my head down to my knees.
The door opened but I didn't look up until Annabeth sat down next to me.
"Drew said we have to go. I doubt we do, but we might want to just to get on the safe side."
"Okay," I whispered. We walked down to the pavilion. Almost everyone was done when we got there. Percy motioned us over.
"I wasn't expecting you guys. Don't worry, Annabeth, Malcom told me where you were," he said.
"Why weren't you expecting me?" Annabeth asked.
"Because I knew you would be with Piper. Chiron's looking for you guys." We looked over at the head table. Chiron was having an intense conversation with Mr. D.
"Great," Annabeth said. We walked over to him. He stopped talking to Mr. D. and turned to us.
"What are you girls doing here? You didn't have to come if you didn't want to."
"Drew told us you were getting mad," I said.
"Well, I'm not, so I guess I need to talk to her." Chiron turned like he was going to talk to Drew, but hen turned back to us. "When did she say that?"
"Well," Annabeth said, "We were on the steps of the Aphrodite cabin when she came up to us. About five minutes ago."
"Hmm, I didn't see her leave."
"Well, she did," I said, "And we're her, so do you need us?"
"You may go back to your cabin if you want, but you're welcome to stay."
"Thanks, Chiron, we'll leave," Annabeth said. We walked out, back to my cabin.
"Why would Drew have done that?" Annabeth asked. I shruged.
"She hates me for taking her place as head councelor. And ever since I told her Jason was mine and to back off or else. Wanna come inside, it's getting kinda cold." We entered my cabin and sat on my bed. I did't bother look at the walls, seeing them would only upset me, so instead I looked at my bedspread.
"You know when Percy was missing," Annabeth said, "I went on a quest to find him. Maybe Chiron would let you go on a quest." Annabeth scooted closer to me. "Do you think he would?"
"Maybe," I said. Annabeth nusged me. "Okay, fine, he probably would." We started laughing, but that was interupted by the screams coming outside. Percy slammed open the door; he was panting.
"Danger... outside... help!" he muttered. We ran to the window. Outside it looked like World War Three. Campers were running all around; burn marks were all over; a maniacal laugh echoed all throuout camp. A figure came down from the sky. It was riding a pegasus. She looked familiar.
"Hazel!" Percy yelled.
