There are many words To describe the beauty of A flower. Beautiful, extravagant, eye-catching.. But those same words, can be used to describe a thousand things.
Just like how, I can write a single word and It can mean A thousand things To a thousand different people.
I remember how English class Taught me that words I see Aren't all there is. There is more than what meets the eye. Words can be twisted and turned To make it seem Like a heart's been torn Or a dead one being mourn.
So when I see the words You have written down so lovingly I think to myself Why does this perfect art Convey a message of such sadness Of such pain. Why does my heart want leave and brain shutdown
When I seem perfectly sane.
Why do these lovely words Written in perfect writing Remind me of you Who is so far away from me now? In times like these, I think I don't want to at all Be reminded of all The thousand things we did By just a few hundred words I see
Because as long as You aren't here Next to me. I don't Want to be pained By the memory of you By what you were to me When you are here no more
