It's not about being safe
It's not about being perfect
It's about getting out of bed
And doing what you never
Ever dreamed.
It's not about working till you die,
It's about living till you can't.
It's about feeling alive doing things that
Wake you up from your deep slumber.
Because you can't live every day
Like it's the same
Routines get boring
And soon go out of style.
You can't expect to have more,
If you don't work to deserve it.
Because Neil Armstrong
Wasn't handed the moon.
Thomas Edison didn't get
The light bulb to shine on his first try.
We aren't always handed
Success on a silver platter.
We gotta reach for
What we want,
And never let go of our ambitions
Never let go of our chance
A chance at happiness, love, success
Because sometimes
We might, sorta, maybe, actually,
deserve it.
