The one that left

I hope you can give yourself,
What you didn't give me.
I hope you can love yourself,
more than you ever loved me.
I wish you well wishes,
Not because I love you still.
But so that you will stop haunting me,
So that I will stop building up guilt
Like I was wrong.

One day (whenever that is)
You  will find someone
Who is perfect.
Not because of her silky hair
Expensive clothes and good makeup.
You will love her
Because she can't talk without stumbling over her words.
She can't smile without hiding it
But what she can do
Is she can give so much
Even if she can't love.
She can find the good
When all you see is the bad
She will be everything you're not.
And you love her for it.
But she will leave.

Because you still haven't changed.
You watch and observe her
Not because you love her
But because she is fascinating.
And she doesn't want to be fascinating,
She wants you to love her as she loved you.
She will learn that you aren't worth it.

And that's why she leaves.
