Eventually, Shawn and I spoke through it, and I apologized, explaining how flooded my head was because of everything that had been happening. Other than that, everything settled pretty quickly after it. Unless you count the Teen Choice Awards as settled. Shawn had been nominated for favorite YouTuber. I was literally so proud of him yet at the same time, I was losing my mind. Shawn was going here and there for studio work and tenth grade was killing me. (Guess who's failing History. Thanks nine years of American schooling.) I barely got to see him in between school and my sports. Yes, sports. I tried out for track, and made it no surprise there. But I had also learned to swim and got on the swim team. Shawn taught me how one day when he was home. But that was really all. My dad didn't care we were dating and I didn't get as much hate after not being in the public eye as much. I still got it but hey. It happens. So when Shawn asked me to be his date to the awards I kind of freaked. I would have to wear a nice dress, get my hair done, and makeup and nails. Did I mention he asked me a week in advance? Yeah. So finding a dress was traumatizing.

"I don't know, what did Shawn say to get?" Lauren asked from a cushion in the store. Lauren was one of my newest friends, since I met her through Shawn and we surprisingly had the same classes.

"He didn't specify. Lauren he just told me about this thing like two days ago."

"When is it?"

"The tenth!"

"Oh god that boy."

"Two days after his birthday. And what do I get him for his sixteenth birthday? He barely has free time so..?" I asked looking through the racks.

"What about the pink one?" I pulled it off and threw it to Lauren.

"Start a pile." She giggled and did as she was told. I found a long black lace one that I fell in love with. "Oh god, put that in there." I spoke handing it to her.

"I like that one too!" We stood in the dress department for a good hour picking out dresses and then started to try them on.

"God, is it crazy to think I'm in love?? " "You're dating Shawn I'd hope so." I looked at her laughing.

"I meant the dress goof."

"Oh! No! It looks really good on you. Talk about a birthday present for Shawn."

"You know the night of the awards is our sixth month anniversary?"

"That's perfect then! Celebrate it with this! Some nice lingerie and a hot makeout session, if I were a teenage boy I'd appreciate that for my sixteenth." I laughed and gently pulled off the dress grabbing accsessories on the way to the checkout.

"We must've tried on 50 dresses." I giggled handing over the credit card and looking at Lauren. "You know, my mom needs a babysitter that night if you're up for it. She's coming up with my step dad and by up I mean in California."

"Aw that'd be awesome! I'd love to meet your mom!"

"Sweet!" I took my purchases and headed to the door.

The night of the awards was very nerve racking. Lauren did my makeup and I got my hair done. Sliding into my heels I held onto the mattress and then stood up grabbing Shawn's shoulder when I stood up. "You alright there?" He asked not looking back.

"Just dandy." I spoke looking at him and turning him around. His eyes widened and his jaw dropped.

"This is what you look like when you try to look good?"

"Mhm."

"Can you try more often? Because... Damn." I laughed and grabbed my phone.

"Maybe. I'll see." He chuckled and took my hand when I was good to go. We met Nash and Bailey in the lobby as we did Carter, Matt, and Cameron. Cameron was making a full recovery and no one was happier about it than I was.
