I woke up the next morning curled into Shawn. If I could wake up like this everyday I think I'd be a lot happier. He looked like an angel, his hair slightly messy from last night, and sleeping on it. I ran a hand through his hair and smiled when he gently woke up. "Morning handsome." He chuckled and kissed my forehead.

"Morning gorgeous. You ready to fly home?"

"Not at all." I mumbled turning into him getting another chuckle.

"You can sleep on the plane. C'mon sleepy." He spoke sitting up. I wrapped my arms around him whimpering. "C'mon Er, we gotta go home."

"I don't wanna go home. I have to go to school then."

"Guess what. So do I." I looked up at him and smiled. I let go and got up grabbing a white zip up of his and navy skinny jeans. I grabbed a blue bandana, thanking myself for not showering last night, since my hair was still curly. I changed in the bathroom and put the bandana in like a headband. I took off my makeup and reapplied my everyday stuff, curling my lashes and brushing my teeth. "Are you done yet? I have to shower."

"Almost." I spoke my brush in my mouth. He came to the doorway wearing just his flannels and watched me. "Would you stop that?" I asked when I was done.

"I'm only looking at the most gorgeous girl ever." I shoved him lightly taking my things to my bag. I heard him chuckle and shut the door. I grabbed his phone and unlocked it quickly tweeting, "@ErWheeler IS THE BEST PERSON EVER. YAASSSSS" I giggled closing the app and setting his phone back where he left it locking it. When he got back out he dried his hair with a towel, dressed in a muscle tank, khakis and a pair of vans.

"Do you wear anything that isn't a hoodie or a muscle tank?" He chuckled and started tickling me.

"Yes I do you wombat." I squirmed laughing and calming down when he stopped. He picked up his phone shoving it in his pocket. "Let's go."

The next day at school was.. Interesting. When Shawn and I got there everyone wanted to talk to us. "Ugh hi?" I asked when I sat down and everyone crowded around me.

"Move it." When I heard our principal's voice I gulped. I was scared to deal with him and I really didn't want to. "Shawn Mendes?"

"Yeah?"

"Erika Wheeler?"

"Mhm?"

"Come with me." I grabbed my bag following the older man out of the room and down the hall. I took Shawn's hand shaking slightly.

"You're fine, don't worry." I sighed holding his hand tightly as we entered Mr. Servanac's room.

"You two have become increasingly popular, haven't you?"

"Ugh, yeah. A bit." Shawn chuckled.

"Well for your own safety we think it'd be better to have you two stay in the guidence study lab room. We'll get your work to you and you'll be in a safer environment." My eyes widened.

"Are you serious? We came to a public school to have a social expirence not be held in an old school room."

"Well I'm sorry Ms. Wheeler but it's all we can do. And Shawn has a contract with the school that he's allowed to miss school for work purposes." Well this sucked.

Shawn and I sat in the lab playing on our phones since we had finished our work. "I'm so bored." I groaned looking at him.

"I know right?"

"Remind me to bring a pillow to sleep." I spoke pulling my chair closer to him.

"I'll be your pillow if you want." He spoke chuckling.

"This is why I love you." I giggled moving my chair next to him and setting my head in his lap. I curled up gently starting to fall asleep. I sleepily opened my eyes looking up at Shawn and smiled. I turned back to my sleep as he started to softly sing.

"Let me tell you a story. About a girl and a boy. He fell in love with his best friend when she's around he feels nothing but joy." I smiled when he sang the last line. Because that's what happened. I had fallen in love with my best friend.
