Draco didn't say a word he just watched his Father carefully.
Then Lucius caught sight of him.

"Draco what are you doing in London?" He demanded

"I'm here for the trial. The ministry has seen to that." Draco swallowed his fear and prayed Harry didn't lose all control.

"You shouldn't miss school."Lucius protested

"You don't get to decide that I'm afraid." Remus said

"He's my child!"

"He's chosen to support his mother. As you'll find is perfectly legal. Even more so sense he's nearly 17" Remus told him

Lucius looked furious. Draco instinctively stepped back. Harry put a hand on his shoulder and growled.

"Got yourself two guard dogs Narcissa." Lucius laughed

"Actually, two and a veela." Sirius stated encouraging Draco.

Draco knew what he had to do. Draco closed his eyes and willed his wings to appear.

"Draco is barely a Veela." Lucius scoffed

"Actually, I think if you looked in my family tree you'd see that Narcissa's grandmother was a Veela from France." Sirius told him.

Harry pushed some of his anger into Draco to help coax his wings out.

Draco took the anger and let himself get angry pushing his wings out of his back.

"Merlin!" Lucius stumbled back starring wide eyed at his son.

Remus has his wand out and all the book shelves remained intact.

Draco glared at his father. Lucius turned at walked briskly out of the shop without a word.
Draco let the anger ebb away and his wings retract.

Narcissa was smiling at her son.

"Glad you took the hint." Sirius smiled

"I had to do something." Draco shrugged

"You effectively scared him." Ron said

"And us." Hermione added

"You didn't break any laws or damage the shop. I thank you for getting rid of your father." The shopkeeper told Draco

"He shouldn't come in here at all. He has no money. He was looking to cause trouble." Draco told the woman.

"You did this shop a service today Sir. Please take any book you like."

"I couldn't possibly do that." Draco shook his head

"Then allow me to give you the money for an ice cream. It's the least I could do for you saving me the trouble of your father." She smiled kindly

Draco moved to speak to the older woman.
"If you insist."

The woman produced 6 galleons from her bag and put them in Draco's hand. "Bless you Draco."

Draco smiled and walked to Mrs Wesley.
"You take this. You've been taking care of Mother. You deserve a little pay for that"

"Now Draco you don't need to do that."

"I want to. You've been so kind to us when I've given your sons and daughter trouble because I thought I had to. If you don't take this it's going to Ron." Draco told her

"I'll take half. Ron needs spending money for Luna's birthday." She told him

Draco divided it up and hand Mrs Weasley three galleons and Ron his three.

"You've both been very kind to me. If I had more money I'd give to you. You deserve every single Knut in that bank vault." Draco told them

"He's right. If anyway deserves it you do." Narcissa smiled

"Now I see the real side of you two." Ron smiled "I know I've been the one struggling to get to know you. I really think it's been because I always thought you had a choice in what you said. I know now that you've only done what you thought you had to do."

"Ron. You had every right to not like me. You Fred George Percy and Ginny have every right to hate me. I said things I never should have even thought."

"I think it's time that we just wipe that slate clean." Ron said

"I agree" Draco smiled

"Good to see you two are getting along much better. Now Draco go back to finding a book you'd like." Sirius told him
