* it's been three years since he died and I still can't get over it* thought the twin tailed fox as he was on his way home from visiting the blue heroes memorial that was built three years ago

*when everyone found out what happened, Amy didn't do anything she stood there frozen in horror, Cream and Cheese stated crying, me and Knuckles had tears in our eyes, Rouge was shocked and I swear I saw tears in Shadows eyes. But....* his thoughts racing as he recalled the events that happened after the battle between Sonic and Eggman in Station Square three years ago

* but there is two things that don't add up, 1) all information of sonic and him saving the world is missing not even G.U.N can figure out what is going on and 2) it feels like someone is watching me and it's comforting like it's familiar * the twin tailed fox was confused about this he never felt alone the others never did either, it was as if sonic is still there

{Unknown location(unknown pov)}

*I just sit here watching them live life without me, it makes me happy and sad at the same time but shadow will find out eventually when the world is being threatened to be taken over in the future* thought the figure in the shadows of a building that is unknown to anyone but him and a few others

" sir you need to rest you haven't in days because you just stay up all the time watching them " said a very annoyed voice

" I can do as I wish Nicole plus you know I can't stand hiding like this from everyone, I've been doing this for 4673 years " said the figure

" well at least I'm not a stalker " huffed Nicole

" oh really then how come you all ways watch E321-Omega when you have the chance " smirked the figure

" n-no I don't " she said as she blushed a vibrant pink

" whatever you say cyberlynx " replied the figure now looking at Nicole with a wicked look

" I could of chosen to help the city of acorn by powering the entire city for the 1345 years I've been here instead, hedgehog prince " retorted the cyberlynx with a victorious smirk as th other huffed in defeat as she was right she could of done that instead help him with this

{ Station Square (Shadow and Rouge)}

" come on Rouge we need to get to G.U.N before we're late " Shadow grumbled in annoyance to his partner

" ok ok mister grumpy pants, it's not my fault I saw something shiny and had to see what it was " retorted the albino bat the the grumpy hedgehog

{ angle island (knuckles) }

* I couldn't do anything to help him when he needed it and now he's gone I ask Tikal if she can give him messages from us, but she says its not aloud and he already can hear us * thought the red echidna as he sighed sitting

He then got up and went to his shack to rest, the shack was left by his ancestors to him

" I should contact Tails and see if he is fine " knuckles thought out loud

Knuckles: yo Tails you there
Tails: yes knuckles I'm here how are you
Knuckles: you ok you sound depressed
Tails: I'm fine I just miss him so much * he sobbed out*
Knuckles: I know we all do
Tails: I wish he was still alive, but I still can't find out who his parents are so we can tell them * he chocked out *
Knuckles: I'm so going to regret this * he whispered to himself * Tails how about you and me invite everyone to stay on angle Island for a few days
Tails: re-really
Knuckles: yes really it's the least I can do
Tails: ok then see you later bye * he said in a cheerful voice *
Knuckles: bye Tails see you later
