"I know, but i'm not mad" Manic chuckled as i reached the top and passed him down the box

"Well technically you are mad" I smirked, as he blinked before rolling his eyes

"Aren't we all?"

"yeah, we are'

{Manic's pov}

we were searching through the box i had just grabbed down, i mean i won't deny that i put a few things into my quills, pockets and wherever else i had room to put things, but we couldn't find anythings

"where the hell is it" My brother growled lowly as he kicked the box and it hit the wall, i heard some things break and clatter together, but whatever

"I mean i know we're looking for something Mum gave us, but what exactly is it?" I rose a brow

"The spell that we used" He answered

"The spell?" I was confused before it clicked "Why don't you have the spell?!"

'oh well sorry that about three thousand years ago, someone found where i had hidden it" He scoffed, i only face palmed, well until the room started flashing red and alarms went off "Shit" 

"We better go" I stated as he grabbed my wrist and he began running to the door to the vault, that was closing, we got out just before it sealed shut, but the was a group of humans in uniforms with weapons i had never seen before

"fuck" Maurice cursed as we were cornered

'Seems we have so rebel hot shots" A taller man in a suit, everyone parted way for him, so i guess he's the leader, but Shadow, Rouge and Omega, i believe are their names, but they were behind him

"Seems you have quite the operation Towers" My brother said calmly 

"What are you both doing in this facility?" 'Towers' asked

"looking for something that belongs to us" he shrugged

"Nothing here would belong to you" The human said bitterly

"hmm really? Because i could had sworn this building used to belong to Jules the Hedgehog back 238 years ago, and it originally was called S.C.B?" My brother smirked while his hood covered his face, the human gave an angered look as i snickered

"Human am i right?" I started "Most of them take what they want without consequences" i grinned 

"for once your not wrong" Shadow pipped up, making a lot of the men turn to him

"Who do you think you are?" Towers growled at us

"Oh you know me Abraham" Maurice smiled sweetly as he looked at Towers as his eyes let off a cunning vibe that scared me "And i know every secret your trying to hide, from everyone including the humans, the mobians and Shadow, Maria Robotnik is alive and well, I should know we saw her a few days ago, didn't we Shadz?" he grinned "not to mention that your experimenting on our kind, trying to find out what makes us..us" he glanced at me and i knew what he wanted me to do

"Sir, what's he talking about?" one of the humans questioned as they turned to the other

"Their talking nonsense" Towers snapped

"am i?" My brother rose a brow "Because i've been alive far longer than anyone in this room, so everything well most of the shit in your vault belongs to us"

"Impossible, the only immortal is Shadow!" Towers snapped

"Is he?" I asked "After all, i was in a dungeon for what? over 4000 years? So i missed quite alot" I shrugged

"The only think you missed M is that the worlds gone to shit over and over" My brother snickered, we weren't taking any of this seriously, and what made it better was that it was pissing this Towers guy off "I mean how many times can man kind fuck up in over four thousand years!" he snorted

"enough times to cause a problem with a god you sealed away during the last stand in Mobitropilies" I laughed "Even then Elroy was the cause for us to be separated when we were a week old Edge lord" My brother only rolled his eyes but he still laughed

"Is this a joke to you?" Towers snapped as he glared "You've broken into a government building and gotten into the most secured part of the facility!"

"Secure?" My brother snorted again "thats gotta be a better joke than you, or maybe your a better joke, since you don't know a damn thing about who your talking to"

Shadow and Rouge had priceless expressions and i winked at them with a wide grin, this was the most fun i've had in years

Towers motioned his hand upwards and the ones with guns aimed at us, thats what freaked me out, but my brother stayed calm and kept laughed, i was starting to think he had gone insane...

"Yeah go ahead and shoot us Abraham, and show Shadow and Rouge, heck maybe the entire world that you can't take a simple joke" He laughed, what is he planing

"Fire" The human had ignore my brother as gun fire was then all i heard, but i didn't feel pain as i opened my eyes as i saw all the bullets had missed us, my eyes widened, as was everyone else's, while my brother only smiled, when i looked again, me and my brother were now beside Towers

"Nice try, but gotta try harder than that" My brother said as he began walking away "We'll just have to look somewhere else for what we need...unless you've hidden it"

"How the hell did you do that Maurice" I was in shock from what had happened

"This wasn't the plan faker" Shadow snapped

"Wasn't it? Because i'm pretty sure i wanted to piss Towers off while also getting what i needed" My brother smirked "Plus it's pretty hot in here" He took the cloak off and hung it over his shoulder, while that smirk was plastered on his face, while every human in the room was silent "Now, about what i need Towers"
