Kayla's POV

Where is he? Where's Baek?!

Ah. There's my bestfriend!!

"Baekkie-yah!" I waved my arms frantically

"Ah..Kayla! It's you. What's up?" He gave me the usual eye smile, I personally think it's cute.

"Tao! He asked me out!!" I said happily. But the moment Baekhyun heard it..his eye smile seemed to have faded.

"Oh..he did? I'm happy for you, Kayla bear." He smiled..forcefully I think?

Baekhyun knows I've liked Tao for a while now. But what he doesn't know is that I'm in love with him. Yes, I love my bestfriend. Pretty stupid huh?

I just never told him because, our friendship may never be the same again. He was the best thing that happened in my life.

I hugged him. I sniffed his scent. "Thank you Baekkie-yah.. I'm glad you're my bestfriend.."

It hurts me to say the word "bestfriend". 'Cause I want him more than that.

"Well, you have a date with Tao..you better go and get pretty.." He smiled as he tucked some of my hair behind my ear.

"You're right..I better go..bye Baekkie.." I smiled

"Good luck Kayla bear!!" He shouted.

"Thanks Baek." I said

I went home immediately. I took a quick shower and picked out a cute lace dress. I put my hair in a messy bun.

I applied light makeup and headed for the mall. We were supposed to meet at the Ice cream parlor, so I went there.

Yup..Tao hasn't arrived yet... I let out a sigh.. I knew it was too good to be true.

I finished the last of the ice cream I ordered and left the parlor.

I heard noises as I was on my way out...like fighting.

I went closer to the noise and I saw Tao beating someone up.

"Tao!" I shouted

"Kayla!" His eyes widened

"What are you doing?" I asked, I was panicking by then

"Nothing..go..nothing to see here!" He said

I went to the guy he was beating up, the guy was bruised..bleeding even. I blew some hair from his face and I got shocked..

"Baekhyun.." I muttered

"Kayla.." He groaned

"Tao! What the heck is your problem?!" I shouted at him..wet tears streaming down my face.

He held my hands. "I like you Kayla and I can't lose you to him!" He shouted

"You..you seriously have a problem!" I said

"Yes.." Then Tao laughed. "Is it my fault I like you?" He smirked then held my waist

A punch suddenly flew to his face.

"It's not. But you're going too far.." Baekhyun said

"Let's go Kayla." Baekhyun held my hand and pulled me away.

We went to my house. We went to my room and there I tried to cure his wounds and bruises but he's just too stubborn.

"Yah! Would you just stay still.." I said, trying to put meds on his lip wound

"Aigoo..it hurts.." He whined

"Ah there! All done." I said

"Are you okay, Kayla? Sorry your first date had to be like this..it's my fault.." He said

"Yeah.. I'm okay. It's not your fault, I guess I just made a mistake about going out with him." I shrugged

Baekhyun suddenly hugged me.

"Baek-" he cut me off

"Let's stay like this for a while.." He said, as he breathed the scent of my hair

"Why did Tao beat you up?" I asked while hugging him back.

"Because I love you..so much.." He said

Baekhyun loves me?

"I really do..and Tao knew that. So he beat me up..but I don't mind..if it's for you."

"Baek.." I said softly

"Do you like me? No..you know what, nevermind. Thank you Kayla. Good night." Baek said hurriedly and turned to leave

I hugged him from behind. "No..don't leave.."

"Why?" He asked

"Because I love you too..."
