7 more days into gauri's 8th month:
Aliya's room:
Aliya was doing some homework when Pari came in with a pen and a paper.
Pari: alu didi?
Aliya: hmmmm???
Pari: Alu didi, you write something?
Aliya put her books on one side and said: what would you like me to write?
Pari: Pari's birthday list.
Aliya: ask me next month.
Pari: but I need now!
She pulls her pout and puppy eyes. Something unfortunately no one could ignore.
Aliya: fine!
Pari smiles and gives the paper and pen.
Aliya: so what do you want for your birthday?
Pari: Salman Khan.
Aliya stared at her with a 'are you serious' look.
Pari: what? Write!!
Aliya: don't get snappy at me!
She writes Salman Khan on the piece of paper.
Pari: princesses.
Aliya: ok......
Pari: ice cream!
Aliya: your birthday is in August! What makes you think Mama would let you have ice cream in cold weather?
Pari: you write! No complain!
Aliya: sorry Pari! Fine wrote ice cream. Anything else?
Pari: pink, those my little pony toys, fairy princess, sonam kapoor......
Aliya politely interrupting: what?!?! Sonam kapoor?!
Pari: you quiet! Anyway naira desai (made up actress)
Aliya: as in the one who acts in your favourite show?
Pari nods and aliya writes the name.
Pari: and last Pari want painting set.
Aliya: something sensible.
She wrote the last thing Pari wanted down and gave the list to Pari.
Pari: thank you.
She toddles off and aliya was very confused but decided to let Pari Be Pari and continued her homework.
Kitchen:
Since Om was in his art studio, Gauri was in the kitchen without him knowing. She was cleaning some dishes and Pari toddled in the kitchen with her list.
Pari: mummy?
Gauri turned off the tap and put the towel on a side and saw her small teddy bear with her list looking so so cute with the pout of course.
Gauri: what does Meri pyaari choti devil want?
Pari: uppie!
Gauri bends down a bit and was about to pick Pari up when she heard a voice.
Voice: stop Gauri!
She came back up and saw her nandi (Om) who came up to her and Pari.
Om: Gauri, why are you bending down?? You have forgotten that you are eight months pregnant and your ladla is coming in one month. See Pari, your mother is so silly. She was about to give you uppie though she is about to have your baby brother.
Pari: I ask.
Om: aaawwww Meri baby. Sorry Gauri if I told you off.
Gauri: it's ok Omki.
Pari lifts her arms up signing for Om to pick her up. Om smiles at his sweet angel and picks her up.
Om: arre Pari, what is this piece of paper?
Pari hands it to Gauri who reads it with Om.
Gauri: Pari, how will we get sallu here?
Pari: plane.
Rikara look at each other smiling as of their daughter.
Gauri: and I am not painting this house pink.
Om: what? She wants this house....... Pari?
Pari: Meri birthday hai.
Gauri: oh Pari! And ice cream?! Omkaraji, this is your daughter and you sort her out.
Om: instead of complaining about the wishlist, hope that the baby isn't born on the same day as Pari.
Gauri: please no!
Pari: huh?
Gauri: your brother is going to be born in your birthday month.
Pari: brother no come on my birthday.
Gauri: this is what I hope Pari. I don't want to deal with any arguments.
Om: Obviously! You hate dealing with arguments yet you love arguing with me!
Gauri: don't start!
Pari: so my birthday?
Om: we will do your list.
He kisses her cheek and Pari gives a cute smile.
