Pari's birthday:
5:00 in the morning:
Aliya-mishti-munni were I rikara's room as they were woken up by their parents when I mean parents, I mean parent and that is no other than Gauri.
Aliya: Mama, what was the need of waking us up? Papa, do something.
Om: beta free me only.
Gauri: be quiet! I'll tell you.
Mishti: do it quick, we have sleep to catch up on.
Gauri: god, you people complain a lot. I think only my son will not complain.
Munni: just say it!
Gauri: fine!! So today is Pari's birthday and I want you all to pay attention to her. You know pamper her a lot because Meri beta is coming soon and she will feel like no one loves her once Baby comes.
Aliya: fine!
Om: now girls, go to sleep and I am sorry for Gauri.
Gauri rolls her eyes and everyone goes back to sleep.
5 hours later:
All was awake but Pari. The living room and kitchen was decorated with pink balloons.
Gauri from living room: Pari, wake up!
A few minutes later, they heard twinkling sounds of anklets.
Gauri: oh no she didn't.
Om:the best thing I love about my daughters, stealing your stuff.
Gauri nudges Om's Arm.
Om:ouch!
The girls laugh seeing their parents having their usual non jhok. Pari came down the stairs wearing gauri's anklets 😂😂 and wearing such a pretty pink dress.
All: happy birthday Pari!
Pari: PINK! YAY!
Gauri smiles seeing her daughter smiling.
Gauri in mind: thanks god this baby is not going to be born on Meri pari's birthday but why am I feeling weird weird?
Om noticed Gauri restless. He bended down to whisper to Gauri: what happened?
Gauri: nothing. Just focus on Pari today.
Om: ok. Pari, come here.
Pari toddles to Om and Om picks her up.
Om: see girls, she looks sooo cute today and especially with gauri's anklets.
The girls laugh and Gauri makes a pretend mad face.
Gauri: anyway Pari, look what you get for breakfast. Ice cream and that too strawberry your favourite.
Pari: yay!
Other girls: and us?
Gauri: toast!
Girls: what? No!
Gauri: when it is your birthday, then you don't need to have toast!
The girls groan and Om feeds a chatty Pari ice cream.
