Maya's POV:
As I threw my cap up into the air...I felt odd. Riley was with her dad, and she didn't see my cap fall. I left it.
I've always been a rebel...and any chance that might've ruined my one and only life?
Riley's POV:
I finished hugging Dad, then I saw Maya frozen. "I'll be right back." I said. Dad nodded, and I walked over to her. "Maya, what's wrong?"
"I don't wanna be me." She said in a zombie like voice.
"What?" Now she was scaring me.
Dad hurried over. "Riles, we gotta finish packing. Say bye to Maya."
I completely forgot what Maya said for a minute. "PEACHES!"
"RILES!" We hugged for a long minute, and Auggie, Mom, and Dad joined in at the end.

We arrived at home, and as I packed, Maya's words rang throughout my head. I was nervous about what's she'd do.
