That next morning I woke up to a missed call from that number. I decided to ask my mom if she knows the number.

"Hey mom. I have a question."
I leaned on the counter.

"Yes dear?"
She flipped the pancake.

"Do you know this number?"
I showed her it.

She stayed silent for a minute.

"No. Sorry."
She didn't look at me.

"Oh. Ok well Gray is going to be here soon. Im going to get ready."

Grayson came earlier than normal.

"Hey Gray. What are you doing here?"
I opened the door.

"Its a nice day. I thought we could walk to school."
Grayson looked behind him.

"Yeah. Let me get my bag."
I walked back up stairs and got the rest of my outfit and my bag.

I got back downstairs and Grayson was "asleep"

"Get up you lazy sack of potatoes."
I went and took his hat off of his head.

"I can't help that you take forever."

I grabbed his hand and walked out the door.

"Can I have my hat back?"
Grayson tried to grab it off my head.

"Nope."
I continued walking.

"OMG. Your such a triangle."
Grayson was walking next to me.

"Thank you."

"Hey Allisa. What's that?"
Grayson pointed to the sky.

"I don't see... Wait."

I looked back a Gray. He started sprinting. I took off after him laughing.

He didn't stop until he got to school.

"Stop doing that!"
I laughed while running up to him.

"Don't take my hat."
Grayson smiled at me.

I rolled my eyes and we walked into school. We got to class and that number called me.

"Gray. Look."

He took my phone and looked at the number.

"I have got a call from this person everyday."

He gave me my phone back.

"There is only one way to find out who it is."

We looked at each other until the teacher came in.

The every hour I got a call from that number. We got to lunch and I set Graysons hat on the table.

"Can I have it back now?"
I opened his water.

"Why do you want your hat so bad?"
I crossed my arms.

"Because she likes it."
He grabbed his hat.

"Well she has a good taste. You do look good in hats."

Gray smiled at started to eat his food. The food today was actually good. When lunch was over we headed to the last couple classes of the day.

And guess what. In those classes. That number called.

Grayson and I walked to his place. We didn't have any homework to do so we went to his backyard.

"Any news on that number?"
Grayson sat in the grass.

"Ill check."

I pulled out my phone and saw that I had a text.

"Should I text back?"
I looked at Gray.

"Yeah."

Unknown: Hey.
Me: who are you?
Unknown: when you get home text me.
Me: how do you know I'm not home?"
Unknown: trust me. I know.
Me: tell me who you are. Or the cops will be involved.
Unknown: you will find out when you get home.
Me: fine.

Grayson and I looked at each other.

"We better get you home."

Gray put his hand on my back and we walked home. When we got there Gray started walking away.

"Wait."

Gray turned to me.

"I would feel a lot more comfortable if you were here."

Grayson and I walked into the kitchen. I called my mom and she sat down with us.

"Are you sure you want to do this?"
Grayson held my hand.

"Yeah."

I picked up the phone and told them that I was home. A few seconds later they called.

We all looked at each other. I answered.

"Hello?"
