The morning after my dad called I don't know what I was feeling. I was shocked, scared, happy, confused... and so on. There were so many questions.

How did he find me?
Why did he find me?
When can I see him?
Why did he leave?

I wanted answers. But I also wanted to see Grayson. I hopped out of bed and got ready. He was going to be here soon and I was so happy to see him.

I waited for a little bit. After a while I texted Grayson. He didn't answer.

I waited.
I waited.
I waited.

I had to walk to school alone. He was in 1st hour though.

"Sup Gray."
I wrapped my arms around him.

"Oh hey."
He looked like he was in trouble.

"Where were you this morning?"
I gave him the look.

"Oh. I was walking with Ethan."
He looked nervous.

"Sure you were."
I patted his shoulder.

The teacher walked in to start class.

"Ok. So those family projects are due in 4 weeks. Get to work."

Panic washed over my body.

"Gray. I haven't asked my mom."

"It's going to be okay. Just ask her tonight."

We worked with partners to see what parts we wanted to put in and what parts we didn't. Grayson kept a few parts out.

On our walk to the next class Ethan came up beside us.

"Dude are you excited?"
Ethan yelled at Grayson.

"Man I can wait. The last game of the season."

They gave each other a high five.

"Are coming to the game?"
Ethan looked at me.

"I wouldn't miss it for anything."

*boring stuff. Skipping to lunch*

At lunch the football team sat together. As usual looking at girls and talking about the game.

"Don't you want to sit with them?"
I asked cutting my food.

"Why. So I can be ignored? They only pay attention to me on the field."
Grayson chuckled.

"Wow. I thought that the quarter back is the team leader."

"Sorry to break it to ya. This isn't High School Musical."

"And it will never be."

"What do you mean by that?"
He laughed.

"Think about it. The only drama is Sharpay. Their food is amazing. And haven't you always wanted to break out in song. Even if you drop a fork?"
I raised Mt eyebrows.

"That isn't my idea of a fun time. I like the adventures that we take. Hiking, swimming, amusement parks. That is way more fun than songs."

"Ill have to agree."

Grayson and I finished our lunches. We got back to class early so we talked about the game.

"Man this game is going to be sick. We are going against our arch rivals.
(The Jaguars.)"

"What are you going to do after football?"
I was drawing in my notebook.

"Well after this I train for lacrosse. I'm excited for that as well."
