Colors swirled around me like water as I struggled to wake up. I heard yelling and notice foggy faces above me. I feel myself being cradled in someone's arms. Then more darkness. I hear a voice calling me. "Alana! Come on wake up! Alana!" I peek my eyes open but it took so much work to do so. I smile a bit as I see the worried expression of Rowan over me. "She is awake!" He gave me a huge hug. I tried to hug him back but found that my arms were super heavy. I let my eyes wander around the room and notice all of the guys standing around. Vio rushes over and gently pulls Rowan off me saying, "Careful Red she has been through a lot." Huh? Why were all of them here? What happened? Suddenly all of my memories rushed back and in shock, I tried to sit up. "Easy Alana you are going to be okay," Vio said in a soothing voice. Draven walked over to me with worried eyes and sat on the bed next to my head. He released some of his own magic and whatever it was helped me move again. I sat up and hugged him around the waist after remembering what happened my body started shaking in fear. I let a few tears fall. He bent down and kissed my forehead. "I am going to get us out of this I promise Alana."

I looked around after wiping away my tears. We were in a large bedroom that I had never seen before. Whoever owned this house must be super rich. My stomach turned when I realized that we had to be in their Uncles house. I heard a knock at the door and all of the guys except Bluford and Odran moved back towards the bed. Bluford remained leaning on the wall and Odran continued to sit in a chair facing the door. Vio walked over to the bed and sat next to me casually reading while Rowan sat behind me holding my hand. Draven sat on the other side of me with his arm draped around me. Somehow it was comforting having him lean on me like that. The door swung open and who I assumed was their Uncle Ganon entered. He looked extremely defiant as if he ruled the world or something. He was starting to bald and his hair was a bright orange. His eyes were a cold gray and he stood about eleven feet tall. He wore extremely wealthy looking silks and his fingers were covered in rings. What did this guy do to get so rich? Maybe he married a princess? In my head I laughed at the thought, he wasn't exactly prince charming even though he looked like he stole a kings clothes. He had a big nose and his skin was a darker color for some reason. The strangest thing was his ears. They were pointed at the ends. After he walked in Vaati followed with a smirk on his face. He was wearing the same clothes as last night and I felt Draven's shoulders tense with anger as Vaati strolled in.

Ganon after standing there for a few moments staring at us finally spoke, "What are you doing in those pathetic forms? Have I not told you to use your magic wisely. Instead, you squander it so that you can hide your true appearances. As if these pitiful humans would accept you." He strode over to Vio and nocked the book out of his hands. Vio didn't even move he only glared up in silence at his Uncle. I held my breath who does this guy think he is? He grabbed Vio by the hair and suddenly that flame appeared in his hand as well. He let the flame go and it suddenly exploded around the room. It hit all of the guys. I let out a cry of fear but they all looked okay except for their ears. I stared in confusion as Draven's skin paled and his eyes turned red. I looked around the room and everyone's ears suddenly grew a bit and sharpened at the end. "There now isn't that more comfortable. Now let's get back to where we left off. Why exactly did you think it was a good idea to run away and who came up with the idea. He looked at Vio who he still had by the hair. It was you wasn't it? I help you become one of the smartest children your age and supply you with countless amounts of knowledge and you threw all of that away! He threw Vio against the wall. At this point, I was sick of this guys attitude and I wasn't the only one. Bluford and Odran stood up from their positions and took a few steps toward their Uncle with anger covering their features. Vaati intervened and Bluford delivered a punch clearly aimed at Vaati's head. But Vaati suddenly disappeared and appeared behind Odran shoving him against Bluford with tremendous force. Draven jumped off the bed stood between Vio who was still on the floor and Ganon. Poor Vio he had a cut on his cheek but he still didn't say anything. I wanted to jump up and hug him but Ganon started coming towards me. Rowan pulled me behind him and sat there with his eyes full of anger but his body trembling with fear. "Looks like you need to learn some respect again Rowan. He said with an evil gleam in his eyes as he slapped Rowan in the face and sent him tumbling off the bed. And you, Alana, was it? The only reason you are still alive is that my son seems to fancy you." He spun around on his heal and walked out of the room. Rowan sat on the floor nearly sobbing. I hugged his head and rubbed his back as he continued to spout apologies. Vaati just sat in the corner looking over all of us as if we were his toys. I don't think I could hate two people any more than I already did.
