"Wait! So if you can turn into a human why don't you?" You asked, e/c orbs shining with questions

"Simple, I don't want to!" He spoke loudly

"Also, if you hate humans so much, then why are you training me?" You asked, finger curled up on your mouth as you stared at the big black and blue dragon

You didn't get an answer though as he stood up and spread his enormous wings. You scrambled over a rock and shot yourself up, onto his back, using your magic as a boost.

The second you landed he took off, going quickly, you nearly lost your balance and fell but found a grip on his hard scales.

"I almost fell! Couldn't you have waited a second?" You complained over the roaring wind

"Maybe you should be quicker then that, next time I might leave you behind!" He boomed back

You pouted for the rest of the flight, the view of the land below slightly nagging away your anger.

You were glad to learn from a dragon that didn't like humans, it made you feel special, you being a human after all. He wasn't he best care taker and you mostly cared for yourself but you still cared deeply about him, after all he was the only one that kept you company.

Common nicknames he called you were, Brat, Human, Crybaby, and Shrimp. Although there were times he used your actual name, you just called him Dragon, or on occasion, Ogie (pronounced oh-gee)
He hated the nickname but that didn't stop you from using it.

For a dragon that hated humans, he tolerated you very well. That's why you cared for him, because you knew, deep deep down he cared for you too.

"So Ogie, what's for dinner?" You yelled up at the dragon after you had landed and went down to the ground.

"I thought I said not to call me that ridiculous name!" He said, annoyed

"Well?" You yelled again

"I don't care! It's not like any measly food you can catch can feed me!" He said

You grinned, "Whatever! You're just jealous I can eat the small stuff!" You joked

"Why would I be jealous of a human? It's a preposterous thing to even consider!" He bellowed

"If you say so~" you chidded, ripping a few berries off a bush
