Chapter 6 - The 'Date'

<The next day...>

Rose: "*Yawn* Another day at the castle!"

Rose said as she walked down the hallway. Suddenly, she heard someone screaming.

???: "Hey Ling Ling! Catch me if you can-"

Bang!

A man crashed into Rose and both of them fell down on the ground.

Both: "Ouch!"

The man look over at Rose.

???: "Omg Miss! I am so sorry!"

He immediately stood up and extended his hand to Rose. Rose grabbed his hand and he pulled her up.

Ling Ling: "Travis! I told you to be more careful!!"

She hit Travis's head.

Travis: "Ow...that's hurts!"

Hawk: "What's going on here?"

Rose, Travis and Ling Ling turned to Hawk's direction.

Travis: "Your highness! I-I umm..."

Ling Ling: "Travis was being foolish. He ran and collided with this young lady here."

Hawk moved his gaze towards Rose.

Hawk: "Are you alright?"

Rose: "Umm yes I'm fine.."

Travis: "Hey, what about me??"

Both Hawk and Ling Ling laughed. Hawk then walked over to Rose's side.

Hawk: "Rose, meet Travis and Ling Ling. They are my so call 'bodyguards' and protectors. Travis and Ling Ling, meet Rose. She is a guest at the castle."

Travis: "It's nice to meet you, Rose! And sorry about earlier..."

Rose: "It's okay, really! And it's nice to meet both of you too."

Ling Ling: "Whenever you see Travis around, please run away from him if you don't want to get into another 'accident' with him."

Travis: "Ling Ling!!"

Hawk: "Alright! Enough you two! Now, get back to work."

Ling Ling & Travis: "Yes, your highness!"

The two of them left Hawk and Rose standing there alone.

Rose shyly looked down and started playing with her fingers. It was kinda awkward between both of them after last night.

Hawk: "Rose?"

Rose: "Huh?"
