Chapter 17 - The Masked

<Back in the Room...>

Rose's Pov

The door unlocked and standing there was two black hooded people. They moved to each sides of the door.

In the middle, stood a masked man. He gave Rose a devilish smile.

Rose: "W-Who are you?"

Rose was still sitting on the mattress. The man walked up and kneeled before her.

???: "You two can go, I handle things from here."

The man gestured the two black hooded people to leave. Both of them nodded. They exited the room and closed the door.

???: "Welcome to my boat, Rose..."

Rose: "Wait, we are on a boat?!"

???: "And you are in the basement."

Rose: "I can see that...but first! Who are you?"

???: "Unfortunately I can't-"

Before he could finish his sentence, Rose hit him with both of her hands which were still tied together. This caused his mask to fly across the room.

She gasped after seeing his true identity.

Rose: "*Gasps* H-Hak??!!"

Hak touched his cheek where Rose hit him.

Hak: "You are stronger than you look."

Rose: If my hands were free, I would have gave him one hard slap.

Rose glared at him.

Rose: "Why am I here?"

Hak: "Oh gosh, you ask too many questions."

Rose: "Why am I here?!"

Rose raised her voice and glared at Hak. He remained a smile on his face and replied in a sly manner.

Hak: "There are so many things I want to explain to you but I don't know where to start."

Rose: "That does not answer my question."

Hak moved his face closer to Rose. She then backed up a little.

Hak: "Well, it's my turn to ask a question."

A smirk spread across his face.

Hak: "Are you in love with Hawk?"

Rose's eyes widened.

Rose: "N-No! What makes you think that!"

Hak stood up and looked down at Rose.

Hak: "You are a terrible liar."

He turned around and faced his back at Rose.

Hak: "I even saw you two kissing at the beach."

Rose: "You are such a stalker!"

Rose shouted as she stood up.
