Crazy Head

Trying to find my way through darkness,
Stuck in world that's heartless,
Unsure about when life will end,
But I know when to pretend;

I was once too young to understand,
I didn't want to be held in anyone's hands,
So I just stood there with wide eyes,
Letting life pass by,
I guess that was fine by me;

But please wake me up,
Because I get along with voices,
Now that I'm wiser,
And older,
They say they're trying to save me,
However, I didn't know I was lost;

Now I don't know it all,
But I'm sure as hell I've seen it all,
Somebody told me to save the moment,
Don't hurt it because you may not have tomorrow,
I sometimes wonder if I should of been a poet;

I can feel the pain, it's still stabbing,
And the sounds I hear are still knocking,
Nobody's around, I'm just sleepwalking;

Someone please wake me up,
Because I get along with voices,
Now that I'm wiser,
And older,
I'm tired of being crazy,
Because I'm just friends with my inner monster,
They say they want to save me,
However I didn't know I was even lost;
