Blind

You say I'm a mess,
And for years I called it the truth,
You dared to put my already broken heart to the test,
And here I didn't know what to do,
I've never needed to read your mind,
I was always scared of what I would find,
We've let this ho on for too long,
I guess it was my fault too;

But you were never kind,
Because you thought I was never good enough for you,
But you still leave me blind;

You can leave and see what you want to see,
But you never found a place in your heart for me,
You didn't even say goodbye to me;

You left a sad girl,
Who was to scared to to take on the world,
Trying to runaway from the noise,
Yet here you are trying to act like you were hurt the most,
I believed in you,
I loved you,
And no matter what I do,
I can forgive you, but never forget what you did;

You were never kind,
Because you thought I was never good enough for you,
But you still left me blind;

You can leave and see what you want to see,
You never found a place in your heart for me,
You never wanted to say goodbye to me;

I'm never gonna let you get to me,
I'm never gonna let you inside my head,
I'm now not afraid to say the words I wished I said,
I'm never gonna let you hurt me again,
I'm never, ever, gonna let you back in;

Because you know, I was always kind,
And tried to be good enough for you,
You were the one who was blind,
So, that's why I say goodbye to you;
