Unpretty

No, I don't have a fairy tale life,
And sure, I may not be a perfect wife,
But maybe that's what you and I think,
I may not be picture perfect,
My heart may not have that much of a sweet affect,
But maybe that's what you and I think;

You know things can be more than what they seem,
I may not be the girl in everyone's dreams,
But I got a heart,
And that's a good start;

I'm no princess,
But that doesn't mean you can love me less,
Sure, I got messy, no good hair,
But at least I care,
You know you shouldn't have to go out of your way to make me feel, so damn unpretty;

I may not be the apple of everyone's eyes,
Doesn't mean you can all drown me out with your lies,
Of course, I may not have a perfect laugh or smile,
But at least I'm original;

Everything and everyone are beautiful in their own way,
And so what if I don't find my true love the next day,
I got a life to live, so I can't stay anyway,
Because I got a heat,
And that's where I'm willing to start;

I'm no princess,
But that doesn't mean you can love me less,
Sure I got messy, no good hair,
But at least I care,
And maybe I'm a little crazy,
But at least I'm not boring,
Sure, I'm not the prettiest daisy,
But that shouldn't stop you from adoring,
You know you shouldn't have to go out of your way to make me or anyone else feel, so damn unpretty,
Yes, I'm unpretty,
But I'm pretty,
We're all unpretty,
But we're pretty;

Unpretty can be pretty;
