How Do You Sleep?

How do you sleep,
When you know you've hurt someone deep,
How do you live,
When you know someone cannot;

What do you got,
Against the weak,
Why can't you help the poor boy who feels like a freak;

How can you be happy,
When you know someone's sad,
Have you gone mad,
Because they're crying out for help, but you can hear them,
Nor do you want to see them;

Your wrist are perfect and clean,
Others wrist are hardly ever seen,
You've never seen them cry,
You'll never be there when they die;

So, how do you sleep,
When you know you've hurt someone deep,
How do you live,
When you know someone cannot;

Why don't you care,
You just haunt and stare,
I can't judge you from the past,
Because I don't dare to look on that side of the glass;

How can you not see,
Them tie that rope to the tree,
Why don't you speak out,
Why don't you help out;

Don't you hear the cries of the baby,
Who long ago lost their Mommy
I would give anything for that child to be free,
You wouldn't dare, even if it was for me;

Tell me, how do you sleep,
When you know you've hurt someone deep,
How can you live,
When you know someone cannot;
