Looking Through a Window

I now slow down with the breaths I take,
I learn before I make the mistake,
I've had to learn not to care,
So, I have nothing to share;

I got nothing to say,
And I don't want to stay,
Why mess up when I can go far away,
I don't have to stay;

Hide away from the sun cause you're scared to get the burn,
Step into the light of the sun cause you might get your turn;

Hiding away and looking in,
I wonder if things are better than they've been,
As I place my hand on the glass,
Looking through a window,
In a place where no one knows I'm here,
Wishing I would would disappear,
Dreaming by the window,
Is there anybody waving through another window?;

Staring back at my reflection,
I thought I would belong,
Now here I am living with confusion,
Because no one told me where I went wrong;

Hide away from the sun cause your scared to get the burn,
Step into the light of the sun cause you might get your turn;

Hiding away and looking in,
I wonder if things are better than they've been,
As I place my hand on the glass,
Looking through a window,
In a place where no one knows I'm here,
Wishing I could disappear,
Dreaming by the window,
Can anyone see me?;

Now, say you're falling from a tree, but you don't hit the ground,
Did you really make a sound?,
Say you run away and get lost,
Do you ever want to be found?,
Say you're feeling alone and don't want to be,
Do you wish people were around?,
Will I ever made a sound?,
Will I ever be found?,
Will people want me around?;

Hiding away and looking in,
I wonder if things are better than they've been,
As I place my hand on the glass,
Looking through the window,
In a place where no one knows I'm here,
Wishing I would disappear,
As I watch the people walk pass,
Dreaming by the window,
Is there anyone waving by another window?;
