Abuse

We often hear about how men abuse women but people normalize women being violent against men and say things like "they should handle it" or "be a man" amongst other things. Honestly, that's double standards. People often outrage when we are showing other examples of double standards but when it comes to abuse, why is it that when women abuse men its okay but when men do it it's not? I'm not saying it should ever be okay because it should never be okay for anyone to hit another person unless they are defending themselves. In fact, we shouldn't even need to defend ourselves against others because we are civilized. Anywho, the bottom line is that abuse is never okay and we should all grow up and act like the civilized people that we claim to be.
