"Wake up" A deep voice growled above me. I moaned rolling over before gasping in pain. I slowly opened my eyes only to come face to face with my father's dark black eyes glaring at me. Let me tell you,He did not look happy what so ever.
"Care to tell me why you ran off last night?" His voice was rough,I could tell he had been up all night probably yelling a lot as well. I shook my head as memories of last night came up. My mate rejected me and I ran off. I ran off like a fucking chicken. I slammed my hand against my face making someone gasp loudly. I looked over and saw Donna looking at me in shock.
"It's not good to do that to yourself" I looked next to Donna and saw a male with blue eyes and brown hair. Looking closer I saw it was Nathan aka my cousin. I glared at him
"What are you doing here?" I growled going to get off of my bed.
"Relax,I am not here to fight,Just checking on my girlfriend is all." So this is the boyfriend,I felt my eyes start to water a bit. I was in so much pain yet I wanted to go in rip Nathan limb from limb for taking my mate.
"You were attacked by rouges last night,How do you feel?" My father spoke through the silence "I'm fine,How is Haley?" Nathan growled a bit
"She's fine,Thanks" Nathan glared at me
"Nathan,Don't disrespect me on my land" Nathan had gone rouge a few years back and found another pack but he was still aloud to visit his family inside of the land
"It's your father's land,not yours asshole" He spat back. Donna looked at him shocked
"Nathan I think you should go home" My father used his alpha voice and Nathan instantly got up and ran out the door in fear of being exiled permanently.
"He is never like that,I am sorry Alpha" Donna gave me a look whilst speaking to my father
"I need to talk to you guys." I sighed. I needed to tell them about Haley being my mate. "You guys may not believe me but Haley is my mate and she rejected me last night" My father nodded
"We thought so,She felt your pain because you didn't reject her back,You can't be reckless like that." My father told me softly,Donna smiled down at her daughter.
"She'll come around,my little girl will feel that mate bond soon enough." My father chuckled
"We can only hope she does if she doesn't. We may lose our next alpha"
