Imagine: Being a Soc's little sister and dating Ponyboy

I slowly walk through the library, scouting for the next best read. I look at one book and remember my crush, Ponyboy Curtis reading it. Ponyboy's got brown hair and these beautiful hazel eyes that make him look like he's daydreaming an awful lot. He's real smart too, athletic. I'd like to go on, but I don't wanna sound too creepy.

I check my book out and walk out of the library towards my older brother, Bob's car. Bob's pretty popular himself, has a bunch of friends, boyfriend of a cheerleader. "Took ya long enough, (Y/N)." He says with a slight smile to me as I climb in his blue Mustang.

"I was just tryin' to find the right one." I argue

"The one Curtis was readin'?" He asks seriously with a raised eyebrow. I stutter, trying to find a answer for him.

"Well-"

"(Y/N), look I hate to burst your bubble, but you ain't gonna even go near him. It'll ruin the family name, my own rep even!" He exclaims, gripping the steering wheel

"Yeah, I know." I grumble, still thinking about Ponyboy and I together. He's a real sweet boy, I wouldn't mind going steady with him.

-Three Months Later-

I walk to the school library, anxious to find Ponyboy. Lots has happened in three months. For starters, I'm dating Ponyboy now! He's still sweeter than candy and treats me real well. It's almost the end of the school year now, and I'm excited about it.

I see Ponyboy standing outside the school library, tapping on the side of his leg. I smile ad run to him, embracing Pony tightly.

"(Y/N)?" I hear a voice that definitely doesn't belong to Ponyboy ask. Pony and I pull away quickly, to see my brother standing there, seething with anger. "Ponyboy Curtis!" I hear another voice yell

We turn and see a boy wearing denim run to Ponyboy. I think that's Sodapop's best friend, Steve. "What're you doin' hugging this grease?" Bob asks, pulling me to him defensively

"And what're you doin' huggin' this Soc?" Steve yells at Ponyboy.

We both stand there dumbfounded and before we know it, Bob and Steve are fighting physically. The principal comes and makes them go to his office. This can't be good for either of them.

-A few days later-

Bob told me that I couldn't see Ponyboy anymore. Not wanting to cause my big brother to get in any more fights, I decide it's for the best. Ponyboy isn't allowed to see me anymore either. I walk to the movie house, thinking about the stupid hierarchy in this town when I get pulled into an alley. Expecting to be met with the hard eyes of a bum, I instead meet Pony's soothing ones. "Pony! You know we're not allowed to see each other!" I hiss at him

"I ain't lettin' that stop me from talkin'  to the town's prettiest girl."

"You really are somethin' else, Ponyboy Curtis." I shake my head, chuckling, as Ponyboy pulls me into a light kiss.
