A/N: Filler chapter. Sorry guys.

Beep. Beep. Be-

I groan as I slam my hand into my alarm clock.

It's Monday now. The day that no one likes. I spent basically all day yesterday ignoring everyone except Tobias. If it wasn't for him, I don't know how I would keep sane.

I slowly stand up, yawning because it's 6:00 in the morning. I want to lay in bed all day doing nothing.

I look through my closet pulling out different pieces of clothing. Why is it so hard to find an outfit on Monday mornings?

I finally decided on a pair of light denim jeans, a long sleeve purple shirt that says 'I'm proud to be from a small town in the south' on the back, and some black Chuck Taylors.

I get dressed, leaving my hair down, and put on some mascara. I run down the stairs, and grab an apple. I don't like a big breakfast.

"Where's mom and dad?" my slightly older brother, Caleb asks.

"I don't know," I say. "Work?"

He nods, and pours himself a cup of orange juice. I look at the clock. IT IS 7:45. SCHOOL STARTS IN 15 MINUTES! I live ten minutes away from school.

"Bye, Caleb!" I shout, running out the door. "See you at school!"

School just ended, and I'm walking to my car with my friend, Christina.

"Hey Chris," I say, smiling. I haven't told her yet. She doesn't know that Tobias asked me out.

"Yeah?" She looks at me, waiting for an answer.

"To-" I start to say when I feel a tap on my shoulder.

I turn around and I see Al standing behind. He smiles at me nervously. Al likes me. It's pretty obvious. I just try my hardest to act oblivious. He is nothing more than a friend to me. We aren't even that close.

"Hey Al." I smile at him, trying to be nice. I He looks nervous. I know that nervous look. Tobias had that look before asked me out. Oh no. Please no.

"Do you need something?" I ask.

"Yeah," he says. "I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go on a date with me this weekend?" Yep. There it is.

"I'm sorry," I say. "I have a boyfriend."

"Oh," he says. "Since when?"

"Since Saturday," I say, smiling. He nods. "Look, I have to go. Bye Al."

"Bye Tris," he says and walks away.

I turn to look at Christina and she says, "You're a good liar, Tris. I almost believed that story."

I just smirk and say, "I wasn't lying."

With that, I turn and walk to my car, leaving a shocked Christina behind me.
