February 14 (continued)
4 months and 16 days.

I drag my teddy bear to my room; which was difficult considering the number of stairs I had to climb. I turn on my phone to check the time. 7:45. My eyes widen at the number projected on my screen. I pick up my backpack once again and run back down stairs, almost tripping more than once.

"Bye mom!" I yell. "Bye Caleb! Bye dad if you're still here!" I open the door.

"Wait!" I hear before I can even step a foot outside. "I'm coming with you."

Caleb hurries downstairs and stands beside me.

"Dude," I groan. "You're older than me, and you have your own car. I don't need to be your chauffeur."

He shrugs. "Oh well." He walks outside and stands beside the passenger door of my car.

"Caleb," I whine.

He tugs on the door handle. "Are you going to unlock it?"

I roll my eyes. "Only because I'm running late, and I don't have time to argue with you." I shove my key into the key hole on the driver side and unlock the door. I sit down and click the button under my window to let Caleb in. "Thanks little sis," he says, sliding in.

I ignore him as I crank the car and pull out of the driveway. "Why exactly do you want me to take you to school?" I ask eventually.

"No reason," he responds, "but hey. It's Valentines Day. This is your way of showing me you love your big brother."

Caleb and I aren't twins, but we're in the same class at school. He's a eleven months older than me. He was born in January of the same year as me, but I (as you already know) was born in December.

"Yeah, yeah." I pull into my assigned parking space behind the gym that I paid for. I put the car in park and remove my keys. "Get out dork."

"Tris!" Christina squeals plopping across from me at the lunch table. I raise my eyebrows. I have like five pieces of ranch covered lettuce sticking out of my mouth.

"What?" I mumble trying not to spit everywhere. An awkward crunch is heard between my teeth as I wait for an answer.

All she does is smile really big. I finish my bite of salad and screw open my water bottle, taking a sip.

"Will asked me out!"

I choke on my water and little squirts of it lands on different parts of the table. I look at her with wide eyes and a smile. "I'm so happy for you, Chris!"

"I'm happy for me too," she says. "I said yes, obviously."

I laugh. "How did he do it?"

"Well," she starts. "It was probably the cutest thing ever to be honest. I opened my locker and there was a paper rose and box of chocolate. There was a note attached that said, 'Happy Valentines Day. I just wanted to let you know that I think you're your gorgeous and an amazing person and I really like you. Will you go out with me?' Obviously, I was confused since it wasn't signed." She smiles at the memory.

"Then I saw the bottom of the note," she continues. "In little writing it said, 'I know you're curious as to who this is. Open the chocolate.' So that's what I did. Inside the box, on top of the chocolate, was an envelope with my name on the front."

"He put a lot of effort into this." I laugh.

She shushes me. "The note inside the envelope simply said, 'Hey beautiful, turn around,' so I did. When I turned around, there were actual roses covering his face. He slowly lowered them and smiled." Her smile widens. "I got teary eyed and jumped in his arms. He goes, 'I'm guessing that's a yes?' I nodded, and he kissed me. He kissed me!" She squeals again. "He's so cute."

"That was actually really adorable," I admit. "Who knew Will could be romantic?"

"Shut up, Tris." She laughs. "Anyway, how's your first Valentines Day with a boyfriend going?"

A smile appears on my face and I giggle. She wiggles her eyebrows. "Talk."

"Have you not seen my Snapchat story?" I ask.

She shakes her head. "Not yet."

"Well," I say. "It's been amazing. I seriously have the best boyfriend ever."

"What did he do?"

"He got me a giant teddy with a really cute note attached to it," I say. "He also sent me his hoodie."

Another Christina squeal escapes her lips. "That's so freaking cute, Tris! I knew that sweatshirt wasn't yours."

I blush and giggle again. I never giggle. What is this boy doing to me?

Christina looks behind me and stands up. "I'll be back," she says. "Maybe." She walks away, but I still hear her yell Will's name. I chuckle and shake my head.

I open up Snapchat and click on Tobias' name. He sent me a selfie -a really cute one by the way- and said, 'Yes babe. It smells like like me,' with a laughing emoji.

I send him a picture of the side of my face typing, 'Yay!' before clicking send.

These 4 months and 16 days need to hurry up.

A/N: There are so many people who are still confused about Tris' and Caleb's ages in the book so I tried to explain it in the chapter. They could br 11 months apart like they are here. (Caleb born in January, Tris born in December.) That's not the only way though. They could also be ten months apart. (Caleb could be born in January and Tris be born in November. OR Caleb could be born in February, and Tris in December.) I really hope that makes sense if you don't understand the age difference between them. :)
