When the bus pulled up to the school, I groaned and practically peeled myself of the seat I almost passed out on. No coffee = a painfully hard morning.

I took the first step of the bus, took a few steps, then paused to take a deep breath. As I let the fresh air enter my lungs, I could feel my self wake up. Just the start of energy flooding through me, as if it was dopamine within my veins.

I began languidly walking to my first class. I saw my Advisory teacher (who also happened to be my first period math teacher) and rolled my eyes. Is there ever a person who the sight of makes you want to defenestrate (verb. The act of throwing an object (or someone) out a window) yourself? Yup, that's her.

I began to put my backpack in my locker. Then I looked to my right, and saw a new face, new body, and wild new curls to this school. Someone with lithe. A graceful, ethereal presence.

I couldn't help but stare at him, admiring his brown eyes, jawline and cheekbones, and of course his errant curls. He looked older then you would expect someone to look from my grade. More mature.

I smiled because he's a cutie. I can already tell (isn't he?)

"Hey, Curly!" I yelled, and he whipped his head around. I slightly giggled at the fact that he responded to curly. He slightly smiled, and I waved, walking over to him.

He was blushing as I stuck out my hand for him to shake, which he gladly did.

"I'm y/n," I said, "and who are you? I'd prefer to not call you curly forever." He giggled, awe.

"I'm Wyatt. Nice to meet you, y/n."

"This May sound a little cliché to ask the new kid, but can I see your schedule?" I asked politely, and he nodded slightly and gave me the piece of paper. My fingers gently grazed him and my heart burst. I couldn't help but feel an excessive desire, wanting nothing more than our hands to have intertwined together.

"Wow. We have 3 classes together." I said, and I could see his eyes light up. Again, awe.

"Ms Bobbi, advisory and first , and Mr Lieberher, fourth." (imagine ur bestie Jae's dad is a teacher) you beam, let's go to advisory, walk with me. And let me tell you, teach is kinda the worst."

"Yeah. I can tell already. Oddly enough, the mere sight of her makes me wanna defenestrate myself... that's the-"

"Act of throwing something or someone out the window." You finished with a sly smirk, "I've used those exact words."

This caused him to let out a hearty laugh, which made you wanna cry because the sound was so beautiful.

Who would've knows? His personality is even cuter than he is, which is hard to do.

Later, at lunch, you sat down with your group of friends. Here's the arrangement

(Sophia) (Jeremy) (Jae) (you)
—————T A B L E —————
(Chosen) (jack) (finn) (Nic) (empty)

You were stuffing garlic bread in your mouth and laughing loudly at some stupid comment from Jae, when you noticed Wyatt sitting at a table by himself.

"Aw fuck that -WYATT!" You waved, and pointed to the empty seat in front of you, "GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE!"

He smiled and walked over to your table, and sitting in the seat next to Nic. Which was an inevitable friendship waiting to happen.

"Wyatt," you said, touching his arm, "meet the losers. Losers, meet Wyatt." Wyatt waved, a heart melting smile plastered on his face.

"Fuck that." Nic said, "I'm not a loser." Which caused Wyatt to chuckle.
