You picked up the phone with shaking hands.
One ring.
Two rings.
Three-
"Hello? Is it Y/N?"
You take a deep breath and tell your mom your plans.
"..."
Your heart pounds. What if she doesn't agree? What if she thinks you're stupid? What if she takes you away from Zed? You force yourself to speak. Your voice wobbles out.
"M-mom? Can I have an a-answer-r?"
"Oh, honey."
You can barely breathe.
"I was crying. I'm so happy for you. Of course you can move in with your boyfriend! Finish up high school there, and I'll make sure to visit."
Relief floods you. You thank your mother and hang up. You run to Zeds' room and hug him hard.
"Alright! Y/N, I'm so glad your mom is so kind."
He blushed like crazy and you did too.
"Y/N, I love you so damn much."
7 years later you are both living happily together. The stock market crashed causing you to lose your apartment. The date is 4/20/69, it is raining. Your refrigerator box is getting soggy. You try to find a new box to move into. Zed is crawling into the road again. Life is good.
