i started to breath heavily.

"E-Ethan..?" Nate murmured in tears, kneeling beside him.

my voice was breaking out in sobs.

Emily stood there, the knife still clenched in her hand.

i went mad. i started to run towards her, my eyes were on one thing. the knife.

"Gray, no!" Nate screamed, trying to stop me.

i paused and looked at him.
"why shouldn't I?! do you not see the hell shes put us through? me through?!"

Nate started to tear up. "Cassadee would say the same thing and you know it. so would Paige...even Cameron."

i shook my head. "look what she did! my fucking girlfriend is in the hospital because of her and my brother is laying there, dead! BECAUSE OF HER!"

Nate shook his head.
"what would Ethan do, Grayson?! you know damn right Ethan would not want this! he wouldn't want you to avenge him! he knows you love him, Gray, you don't have to prove
anything!"

"don't you dare ask me what Ethan would want!" i was crying now and i started to fall to the floor once more.

"i'm calling the police." Nate stated.
